Incredible selection of fine crystals in a space that is so inviting. I’ve passed by this store on Lincoln and didn’t realize how amazing it is inside. This place is not only for crystal sales, but they host a bunch of events here too. If you’re looking for a space to hold posh event, this is the place. The store has 2 levels, with a lounge area and an open room that can be used for healing sound baths or meditations. The photos do not do the crystals justice. Their energies are super cleansing. I feel good just walking around inside. Plus, Darcie and Juda who run the show room are some of the nicest and coolest people ever. You can purchase huge crystals for $20K, or you can find neat little ones for $40-$100. There is a parking lot in the back, and plenty of street parking out front.

A nice little bookstore and crystal shop. They have a great selection of spiritual books on a variety of topics from Buddhism to witchcraft, and a variety of candles, incense, etc. They also sell a variety of (mostly smaller) crystals (they have bigger stuff next door at the Mystic Journey Crystal shop). Great variety of tarot cards here too. They have a display version of either most or all of the decks they sell so you can look through them. It's really nice to see the layout and feel the cards before you buy them. They offer readings here too and have a variety of practitioners to choose from. There's also a cute courtyard where you can sit and they have events out there.

Relocated from their home on Abbott Kinney! A lovely welcoming owner and staff in an absolutely beautiful, whitewashed shop that extends into an inviting garden patio open to the public. A fair share of metaphysical books with soft borders to include some psychology, memoirs, spiritual and workbooks (Julia Cameron's Artist Way series). An entire section plus next door gallery of crystals. Author book signings and talks. Lots of free parking around the small block.

First I'd like to say that the team is super friendly and kind, their books, candles, crystals are amazing and not expansive. They also have cute jewellery. BUT when you book a reader, it is a nightmare for them to be on time. It's crazy. They request you to book online or by phone, then they call you again to confirm, then you have to be there 5 minutes before, but the readers are never ever on time. And you have to wait 15/20/30 mn (one day I waited 45 minutes!), in the store, without being able to sit, just because the reader doesn't respect your time. I stopped booking reading with them because of that until yesterday.... Yesterday after months without going to the store (5 months!), I booked a reader (Julia) à 6.15 pm. I was there at 6.05 pm. 2 charming young ladies confirmed me, TWICE, that she is scheduled to end at 6.15pm. So perfect for me as I told them I had a super tight schedule (so why did you book at Mystic Journey could you ask me? Well, never ever again!). At 6.15pm I asked if it was still ok, they checked the computer and told me it should be ok in one minute. Twice they asked the reader who said that she will be ready in one minute, At 6.25pm, I asked again what was happening. One lady checked with the reader and told me that she was really sorry but obviously, suddenly, surprisingly, there was a double booking (but how? everything is online!) and that Julia had a 30 minutes booked so that I should wait...Seriously, they were not aware of that before? Why when they checked it was not mentioned?....I think the reader during the previous reading just decided to renew it without checking if someone was booked.. And the best...one of the lady at the counter told that it was unfortunate that I had things to do after the reading. Really? Well I think it is unfortunate that the reader and the staff don't respect their client's time... So I decided to cancel. I was waiting for 20 minutes, I did my part, booked, was there on time, and how could I be motivated to meet with a reader who just doesn't care about the client. And the team just let it go...Don't care if they lose a client..

So if you decide to book a reading there, take a chair with you, as you can't sit and you have to wait for a long time, and keep in mind that they will never be on time. So don't plan...

I feel compelled to share my recent experience at this place because it truly left me feeling disheartened. When I walked in today around 7:48 PM, I noticed that Denise, a staff member, didn’t even bother to greet me. I brushed it off, thinking maybe she was just busy. However, when I later asked about the cost of a candle, she had just hung up the phone and, with a dismissive wave of her finger, said, “Can’t you see I’m on the phone?”

That moment felt incredibly degrading. It’s frustrating to be treated like an inconvenience, as if I somehow don’t warrant respect or politeness. I’ve heard people jokingly say that Denise is the “mayor” of the area, which makes it hard not to feel like she’s on some sort of power trip.

Additionally, I’ve had a few experiences where I felt presented as unreasonable when I simply wanted to see if a reader I was familiar with could help me. It’s disheartening, especially given that I’ve never experienced Jeff being disrespectful towards me.

I also learned that the manager, who had been with the establishment for 15 years, was let go, which might explain the noticeable decline in customer service. It makes me wonder if there’s a lack of integrity and respect permeating the environment.

After all this, I can no longer recommend this place. I genuinely hope management takes this feedback to heart and works on improving the customer experience...

I will never call this bookstore again. Psychics r rude and judgmental. I honestly never had to deal with this in other place.

I have read with Krista several times. Initially she was great but then she started to have an attitude with me. I don't know why bc I have always treated her with the utmost respect.

Last time I called the reading was at 2.30pm. I called and they told me she said she was on a break.

I am very upset bc my older dog is ill. I called her back bc in the previous reading she told me he was going to be fine and live longer. This time she tells me she did not know if he was going to go end of the year. It wasn't the bad news that got me upset bc I understand psychics can only see so far but the way she was saying things like hey it's his time to go almost laughing about vs being compassionate. Then she way saying how animals r.

I'm not calling a psychic to find out how animals r nor I am calling someone to tell me to behave bc no one tells me that.

I am very respected in my life. I just go through the ups and downs of life as a human being. I don't expect anyone to tell me about the world but a little compassion would have been definitely nicer.

Will never call this place again. I agree with other reviews. There's...
