⨠Laura at En Blanc truly saved my wedding dress shopping weekend! āØ
After a long, exhausting couple of days at other boutiques, I had almost given up hope. My mom and sister flew in to be part of the special āsay yes to the dressā moment, but after three appointments, I still hadnāt found the one. Every dress started to blend together, and while many were beautiful, none felt like mine. By Saturday evening, I had resigned myself to the idea that Iād have to continue the search alone after my family left.
Sunday morning was our last chanceāwe had booked a last-minute appointment at En Blanc, not even sure if they knew we were expecting us. Walking in, I tried not to get my hopes up, but then we were warmly greeted by the incredible Ms. Laura. From the very first moment, she was warm, empathetic, and genuinely invested in helping us turn the weekend around.
Laura is more than a master stylistāsheās a true expert and everything I needed. She listened carefully to my story, understood my vision, and worked within my budget (which I was nervous about). She pulled stunning samples, gently encouraged me to explore new silhouettes to ācleanse the palette,ā and made the entire experience refreshing instead of overwhelming. For the first time all weekend, I felt hopefulāand even cried with relief knowing I might actually find my dress.
And then it happened⦠I found THE ONE. The dress I had been dreaming of (plus the most perfect matching veil). Laura styled it beautifully with different accessoriesāsleeves, capes, boleros, necktiesāso I could truly envision all the possibilities. The moment was everything I had hoped for and more, and most importantly, I got to share it with my mom and sister.š
Looking back, Iām grateful for the ups and downs of the weekend, because without knowing, they led me to En Blanc and to Laura.
My mom summed it up perfectly: āLaura was exactly what we needed, when we needed her. She made such a huge difference in our livesāweāll never forget her š.ā
Thank you, Lauraāyou turned what could have been a tragic weekend into a memory Iāll...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI highly recommend En Blanc! I tried on probably 80 dresses before going to En Blanc. I know, pretty ridiculous, but we switched wedding locations/countries, and just couldn't figure out my vibe.
I loved being able to make an appointment online. The shop is very cute and has a great selection of dresses/designers. I didn't enjoy the experience when the stores were TOO big. En Blanc has the perfect amount.
I had shopped a lot with my mom and a few others but finally decided it was easier to go by myself. I'd highly recommend going by yourself and then doing a second try on with whomever you need to show before saying yes.
Candice was my stylist. She is the absolute best! Don't get me wrong, I had met many lovely stylists that were great to work with. What I loved about Candice was that she was fun to work with. She was honest with me and really helped me figure out what I wanted. A lot of stylists won't share an opinion other than, you look perfect. I appreciate that and I totally get it, but I'm also only buying one dress, and I needed help narrowing it down. She made me feel confident in my decision. It was such a fun experience and I'm so thankful I had Candice!!
This was the first place where I had a few dresses I could see myself getting married in. I wanted a timeless but modern vibe and something fitted. They had so many beautiful options. The dress I went with is only in a very select few stores in the US. I was willing to spend some money on my dress but also wasn't willing to spend 10k on a dress for one day (no shame if you can/want to do that). I spent way less than I expected and I feel like I got an incredible dress.
I can't wait to wear my dress in February! Highly recommend...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAvoid at all costs. They didn't notice the key part of my dress was missing when it arrived (paid a 9 week rush fee but took over 10 weeks). Two quality control checks missed that they hadn't sent the wrap that covered my chest area. When I went to photos online to try and understand how this could happen, every photo includes this piece. I'm not sure how two quality control checks missed this given all the photos available of it even without "wrap" in the name.
I called immediately about it since I was taking it straight to alterations. They never returned my call. It took them from Saturday until Tuesday to send me an email apologizing on behalf of the designer and taking zero accountability. It was only after asking about their two 'quality control' checks that they apologized: "Truthfully, we should have caught this in our QC and Sareh Nouri certainly should have caught it in theirs before it left their atelier. We do not carry this dress as part of our permanent collection here at En Blanc so we're not as familiar with it which I can only apologise for not being as familiar with the gown as we are our permanent stock here at En Blanc. That certainly does not excuse it for being missed and for that, we're truly sorry."
Saying they're not as familiar?! A high end shop selling a $9k+ dress should be familiar with it...I had provided them multiple photos of it and they had access to the website that all had the photos of the wrap.
If you somehow end up in the store, remember the $25 fee that they say will be put toward your dress (*if you ask). The booking fee was not put toward my purchase, I had to ask them to apply it during my second...
