Went to get ear cuffs with my sisters and the store manager was so rude. Neither employee nor manager acknowledged that customers were waiting to be rung out, they were chatting it up while there was a line of customers waiting to get their ears pierced. When I asked if someone could ring us out the manager rudely answered me ( that her employee was helping someone clearly on the phone, hearing her tone and the way she was talking to a customer I was staring at them and she had the audacity to clap back with ācan I help you, there a problem because you keep staring at meā literally not even 5 seconds had gone by in what corporate world does a a manager act like that? What professional manager? None. And if a manager acts like that I could on imagine the staff working under them) while the Employee was clearly on her personal phone while she ārang out a customerā by how they were talking sounded like they were checking out another employee on the phone and the cashier used her personal phone to pay, unless Claire's now has IPhones for their cashiers to use to check out customers. ( she used her personal phone to make the payment again what customer would give an employee their personal number?? So on company time they were making personal Transactions and getting an attitude with a customer? ) When I asked the manager , if she was the manager, (before I knew she was/I assumed only a staff member could have been that rude and disrespectful) she again in a very rude tone answered yes, when I asked what her GMs name was then she decided to tell me, her cashier was on the phone with another customer, and I went on to Further explain from that side of the counter it looked like a personal call and when I prompted to be checked out instead of a rude response she could have just told me āweāll be with youā in a polite manner.
I asked for her name she refused to tell me and went on to say ā Iāll call the GM and sheāll know who youāre talking aboutā so looks Like the problem comes from the GM to the store manager/supervisor and clearly the HR and hiring. No wonder so many reviews have been made and now I remember why we stopped going to Claireās.
Hire better employees and management staff because apparently the employees and managers are there to buy themselves products instead of helping customers on company time. I guess Claireās just pays for employees to do whatever with horrible customer service on company time, pays them for their bad attitude and the store is always a mess!!!
I would like to speak to the district manager because what are you doing???? How has there not been an intervention at The Woodlands Mall??? They were always peak but there are other stores now Similar to Claireās with better services sure itās a couple dollars more but I would rather have a friendly face and someone with a pleasant tone talk to me. Than be disrespected and talked to rudely from staff thatās there to provide...

I debated on even coming here but since we had a good experience back in 2018 and my daughter really wanted her ears pierced here, we went ahead and did it. We walked in and went to the counter and told the lady working that we were interested in getting my daughters ears pierced and she told us to go over to the chair and look at the earrings to decide which we liked. I asked for pricing as there was no prices listed on the display and she told us it depended on which earrings we chose but was very uninterested as if she was annoyed that we were there. We picked out the earrings and she told us they were $59.99 and that included the cleaning solution. She marked the spots on my daughter's ears and they were not even. I told her my concerns and she did redo the mark. My daughter was so excited and was trying to tell the worker about how she got her first ear piercing here and without waring and in the middle of my daughter excitedly trying to speak to her she pierced her ear. My daughter looked shocked and confused and the worker didn't even respond to her. She then reached over and did the other ear so quick that she didn't even make sure she was piercing in the correct spot. I told her that they were uneven and she just said well I can redo it in a rude and annoyed tone.. Wtf. Imagine the torture and pain and trying to heal that. Its worse enough with just the one. Plus my daughter was like no, please mom no so we didn't. Upon checking out at the register I noticed the paper with earring pricing sitting next to the computer. The earrings we chose had a price of $49.99. I brought this up to the worker and she said that the additional price was for the cleaning solution. I was confused because she said earlier that the cleaning solution was included when you purchase the earrings. So come to find out I was charged for the rapid cleaning solution instead of being given the regular one and was never given the option. Horrible experience. My child was so excited to get her ears pierced and this lady just was so uninterested. Ignored my daughter when she tried to speak to her and just seemed annoyed at our presence. Never welcomed us in and when I told her to have a great day as we were leaving she walked off not saying a word. This place used to have great employees who were nice and spoke to the children and made sure everything went smooth and that they were comfortable. This lady didn't care one bit. I do not reccomend coming here for yours our your children's piercings....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI came today to find some things with my birthday gift card. When I walked up to the store the lights were all off and the worker was sitting on a chair in front of the closed store. She was on her phone and wasn't even looking at me or the person I was with. The gate was halfway up as well so I just assumed that the lights were out. I was about to walk inside but I decided to just ask and make sure they weren't closed. The lady just looked up and said 'yeah we're closed for construction' then started asking if I was there for a piercing. I told her no bc I had my birthday gift card. I asked if they'll reopen and she just said something about construction again. She didn't say anything else and just went back to her phone. This really upset me and I sadly know that the company isn't that great. But you could at least hire better workers and maybe post times when...
