The store itself is fine it's the staff that's one star. Every time I have an Amazon return I'm treated so poorly it's mind blowing. One example. Of many, I arrive and said, "good morning" as I get to the counter and was completely ignored. So I said "hi there" and nothing, she wouldn't make eye contact with me (mind you, we're face to face, she's at her computer/register, it's not that she didn't hear me). So then I say one more time, "Hi!! How are you today in a slightly louder voice and kind of bend down a but to try and catch her downward gaze. And get back a very tight lipped," I'm fine." then just stands there with her register gun and isn't telling me she's ready for a code. I'm standing waiting trying to be friendly and smiling and patient and she tells me in a very annoyed voice, "well I'm gonna need the return code." I said, "oh okay no problem I didn't know you were ready." This is one of many AWFUL experiences I've had returing Amazon items there. It's very clear they hate doing it but they definitely shouldn't be taking it out on the folks returning items. Honestly I'd rather return my Amazon at UPS but not going to because they charge now. Part of me almost wants to pay the dang fee so I don't have to deal with the horrible customer service at Kohl's. Too bad too because I've found a couple cute things there and bought them but now don't even wanna shop because I'll have to get back in line and deal with them again at checkout. Read moreJust had the worst customer service experience at this location. The Manager on duty was extremely rude and condescending. She walked right in front of me when I was trying to walk(basically cut me off) and I said "that was kinda rude" she then walked back and said " I'm sorry" in a very sarcastic manner. I said it was fine just kinda rude. She then walked away and sighed and audibly said "oh my gosh" so I walked over to a nearby employee and they confirmed it was the manager on duty. My girlfriend was near and I walked over and told her about it. That's not all....As I was telling her about it she approached us and was extremely aggressive the entire time. She did apologize and I accepted but her body language and her tone was extremely aggressive and confrontational. She asked if i ever had just a bad day. I responded yes but being a customer service manager myself, I've never acted that way to a customer. She also was asking "what should I do now?" Well, it's what she should have done differently. I maybe shouldn't have even called her out for walking in front of me like that. But all she had to show was a little understanding and empathy my way, being the customer and all. Instead all I got was sarcasm, scoffing and sighing, aggression and nothing to show me she was actually sorry for the way she acted. We've all had rough, trying days, situations and it's how we react to them and how we treat others that show character. I hope she changes how she reacts. For her, nothing but a positive...
Read moreI had placed an order online and they shipped it to this store, even after I had asked them to send it to my house but I'm kind of glad they did to my surprise. I've never been to that Kohl's store. Once I got there and picked up my order not once but twice and let me say both times the staff was more than exceptionally friendly and helpful in getting my order. The second time for some reason it was registering that I had picked up my 1st package and the manager Deanna had went the extra mile to make sure and we went thru my emails and I showed her what all I have gotten so for and that this pick up did make the last of my order. Herself and her staff again made those extra steps to make sure that I did get all that I was expecting to get from their company plus some so I ended up making a new purchase and using my rewards there. So I feel if you are in the area do yourself a favor and stop in and check them out they are very welcoming, friendly and honest people and will go out of their way to make sure you get what you are wanting for your money or your expectations in a product.
