Rude and unaccommodating. Stopped in last week on vacation (already had a game card in my bag from previous day) my 6 yo nonverbal ASD son was sitting in one of the driving games pretending to drive. There was not even ONE other patron in the whole place except my family. I was waiting for my daughter to decide what to play and allowing my son a minute in to enjoy himself and decompress as we had been going non stop all day. I have great awareness and diligence with my kid. In no way was he acting inappropriately or dangerously.. or even being loud. He certainly wasn’t in anyone’s way. The worker walked over and asked if he could help me purchase a game card, I smiled and said no thank you. He immediately followed up with, “well you need to move and leave the games open for paying customers.” AGAIN, mid afternoon and my family of four were the only people as far as the eye could see.. Felt like pretty direct disrespect! I would never get in another persons way of playing. I will never come back and hopefully no other special needs family ever has to feel they don’t belong in...
