Review of Applebys Niagara falls Clifton hill. Just in case you don't want to read everything my score was 13.5 /40. Do not recommend I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and a 7up. Came with a coleslaw and fries. I also asked to start with a spinach and artichoke dip for the table. The restaurant was not busy. First 2 of 5 orders came to the table after about 23mins. 5 mins later the other 3 orders came with the spinach and artichoke dip. We will start with the spinach dip. When it came out the cheese top was already cool and had become hard as a rock. I had to use my fork to get through it because the chips would not penetrate the cheese helmet. The chips were basic tortilla very bland. The dip underneath the cheese helmet was ok but alittle on the greasy side. Over all about 4/ 10 French fries were warmish but just a basic out of the bag restaurant Shoe string type (not my fav) but most were edible. mostly over cooked. I'm going to give them a 4/10 just because the portion was good. Coleslaw was the out of the can restaurant special so won't be scoring it. Spicy chicken sandwich. This thing was a mess. The bun I'm sure someone in the back sat on it. The chicken was very thin and consisted more of breading then chicken. The veggies were pretty fresh but very little was put on. The sauce was the typical Buffalo chicken sauce, pretty standard. The only saving grace of this sandwich was the "want to be" blue cheese sauce and the Buffalo wing sauce actually gave it some flavor. I could only really score this a 3.5/10 Service was not good. I spent most of the meal without a drink and the waiter was nowhere to be found. He did come to the table at one point grabbed my glass and said he would be right back with a refill. Didn't see him again until I was done. He brought me a water instead of another 7up. At the end of the meal we paid and he didn't thank us for coming in or have a good day nothing, he just walked away. I am a huge fan of customer service. Even if the food was ok and I had great customer service it makes the whole experience better. Because of the lack of service 2/10. Overall rating of my experience 13.5/40. Not recommended.

Awful Experience - Avoid at All Costs We visited Applebee’s in Niagara Falls, Ontario, hoping for a nostalgic dining experience. Unfortunately, it was far from that. If I could give zero stars, I would. We ordered steak, and it was completely underwhelming—overcooked, extremely chewy, and the quality of the beef was just bad. The mashed potatoes were clearly frozen and reheated, not fresh, and the vegetables were soggy and tasteless. The only decent part of the meal was the cocktails, which came directly from the bar. Everything else was terrible. When we mentioned our dissatisfaction to the server, we declined her offer to change the food because we didn’t want any more low quality food, and it was all just frozen, soggy, and not good. I saw the server speak to the manager at the cashier, but he simply shook his head as if to say, “Never mind.” He didn’t even bother coming to our table to address our concerns. It felt like they were used to these complaints and just didn’t care. Despite the steak being nearly untouched and the mashed potatoes left as they were, they still brought us the bill without any acknowledgment of the issues. I rarely leave negative reviews, and I usually choose restaurants with good ratings. Despite reading mixed reviews for this Applebee’s, I decided to give it a shot because of past experiences in other countries. I regret that decision deeply. This level of bad service and food quality is astounding, and I’m not sure how they are still in business. Save your money, and do not eat here. There are much better options in Niagara Falls.

An Unforgettable Valentine's Day Experience at Applebee's in Niagara Falls!" My partner and I decided to kick off our early Valentine's Day celebration with a dinner at Applebee's in Niagara Falls, Canada, and let me tell you, it was absolutely phenomenal! We started our evening with the ambiance – cozy and intimate, perfect for a romantic date. The staff greeted us warmly and seated us promptly, adding to the inviting atmosphere. Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the Whiskey Bacon Burger on a brioche bun with a side of fries. Oh my word, this burger was a masterpiece! The juicy patty perfectly complemented the savory bacon, and the hint of whiskey infused a delightful flavor that elevated the dish to a whole new level. And those fries? Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside – simply divine! For dessert, we indulged in a slice of cheesecake, and it was the perfect sweet ending to our meal. Creamy, rich, and oh-so-decadent, every bite was a heavenly delight. But beyond the scrumptious food, what truly made our experience unforgettable was the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable evening, catering to our every need with grace and hospitality. Overall, our visit to Applebee's in Niagara Falls was nothing short of spectacular. Whether you're looking for a cozy spot for a romantic date or simply craving delicious comfort food, this place is an absolute must-visit. We'll definitely be returning soon for another incredible dining experience!

Came here with my parents for a family dinner at Niagara and we are from out of town. Absolutely loved the food here! Despite them closing within about an hour, we arrived around 9:45PM as they were closing at 11:00PM and the food quality was outstandingly fresh, well-presented, and generously portioned. Unfortunately, we were greeted by a rather unprofessional and rude staff member at front as she took us inside to a booth with the light above not even working and as we asked her if we could sit at the seats by the windows across of the bar she said those were reserved for larger crowds only of which nobody was there in sight or in line. Then we asked if we could sit in the other far corner by the window and she abruptly said no and walked away. So that made our starting experience slightly unpleasant and unwelcoming, however another staff member became the reason for which I chose to write this review which is JP I believe his name was. The gentleman was our server and was extremely kind, respectful, well-mannered, and took our order correctly and made sure we were well-attended to throughout the entire course of our dinner. I do believe that is always one person who can make a change in someone's day, life, or experience and that in my opinion was the server JP. We ordered for three drinks, a Red Sangria, Classic Caesar, and a Root Beer with the Bourbon Chicken and AAA Grilled Canadian Steak dishes and all were absolutely delicious, fresh, and made to taste. Big thanks to JP again for turning our experience around and making our family dinner an unforgettable one as we came from far out-of-town from Aurora and the trip was well worth it. Delicious food and wonderful service. Sadly only had to make the service rating 4-stars due to the front-desk staff member's poor attitude, otherwise will recommend to my family...
