Took the train to spend the night in Toronto and hit up a few good food places to eat and uncle tetsu was one of them. I read a lot of reviews on here and it was very mixed about the taste, and I for one absolutely loved it. I bought a whole cheesecake on my way home on the train. I think if you like the taste of Cheesecake the cream cheese part of it eat it cold or if you want to try it the way it's supposed to be eaten, warm, it's also really amazing but a lot less of a sweet taste or like a cheesecake but so fluffy and light. The only regret is that I didn't buy two LOL the down part was trying to find it in Union Station, it was really confusing. Luckily we went in the morning on a Saturday and did not have a lineup so I can't say if the lineup is a long wait but we did make sure to leave sometime in case we did make our train so I suggest if you're going to try it and you don't know when the busy hours are just leave a little time before your train. I will definitely be going to buy one again next time...

The cake is very fluffy, light and subtle, not overly sweet at all. when it is freshly made it is just melt in the mouse.
Line up require and one person can only buy one cheese cake. Last time I was at this location, people latterly star argue in the line as some one called in a few āfriendā when he get to the counter, the clerk there did not see so she sold him a few and a customer was linking up behind did not get the cake got really mad - just show you how much people love cheese cake.
They recently add matcha flavour, love it. Slight smaller but...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHeard some good things about this place so dropped by. It just came out of the oven so it was hot and fresh. The cake was still wet when I took my first bite so it was a bit subpar. I hoped for it to cool down and harden as I went to my hotel. Unfortunately it didnāt. The taste was just like any other sponge cake although they call it a cheesecake. Iāve been to different countries and tried their cakes. This would be somewhere in the middle of my list. The texture was the missing element for me. If it was able to hold shape better I think it would have been good with a cup of coffee. If you have time and you happen to be at Union Station you should drop by. But I wouldnāt go...
