Žofín Restaurant & Garden — Restaurant in Prague

After a nice walk in Prague we have decided to have a lunch in this restaurant. It has good reviews so we thought it will be a good choice. For a long time in Prague we did no do such a bad selection. In short: waiting for salad, grilled vegetables, meet with dumplings took 90 minutes waitreses with frowned faces were hopelessly trying to deliver the food to correct table. it was realy bad...asking guests if the food is theirs... extra plate for which we asked when ordering was not brought even we asked for it the second time there was an insect in my salad and I said I will not pay for it, at the end it was on the bill (cashier said she was not informed).....so that means that after 90 minutes of waiting I was still hungry! we asked for a bill and waited for another 20 minutes, nobody camed, so I went inside a asked for a bill one more time. so I claimed to cashier that I could go without paying and nobody would have noticed it....at this time there was another guest standing behind me saying the same....

When I read reviews on this restaurant and can not believe that I was in the same one today. I think it is not the fault of the cook in the kitchen, but of the very very very bad management. We very randomly walked in this restaurant for lunch, just because we were nearby and the restaurant looked nice. And wow, what a great decision! The scenery from the window nearest to us was very beautiful, the staffs were very friendly and helpful and the foods were very elegantly decorated and delicious. I have no felt so discriminated at a restaurant before. My family and I showed up for Christmas breakfast, the two lady hostess were so welcoming and inviting. The ladies began to take our coats and welcomed us with open arms saying they had a table available for us.
