Forbina bar — Restaurant in Prague

We visited the Forbina Bar and managed to get a spot at the bar with a reservation. Upon arrival, our coats were taken, and we were immediately provided with water glasses. One of the bartenders introduced us to the concept behind the bar and shared the story of how it got its name, which added a personal touch to the experience.

The entire staff was incredibly friendly and helped us choose the perfect cocktails from their menu. The menu itself was creatively designed, and their signature cocktails were served quickly – we didn’t have to wait at all. To make it even more special, the bartender explained the inspiration and idea behind each drink as it was served.

The menu also stands out for its wide selection of non-alcoholic cocktails. These are not just juices or soft drinks but high-quality, thoughtfully crafted creations, which is a great option for anyone looking to skip alcohol without compromising on flavor.

The bar team clearly knows their craft, and it’s a delight to watch them work. The interior design and lighting create an elegant and perfectly balanced atmosphere. Additionally, there is a small selection of food available, which complements the experience nicely.

Absolutely incredible bar! This place is a gem, doing things differently in the most creative way. Every drink on the menu is inspired by plays, operas, or ballets, which is such a thoughtful touch, especially given its perfect location right in front of the National Theater.

What truly stands out is how each drink comes with its own story. The menu doesn’t just tell you the name—it provides a fascinating backstory about the play and gives a detailed description of how the drink will taste (sweet, sour, bitter, or somewhere in between). It’s like getting a mini history lesson with your cocktail!

The attention to detail here is unmatched, from the beautifully crafted drinks to the overall atmosphere. I can’t wait to come back and explore more of the menu. This isn’t just a bar—it’s an experience....

Okay, now we are talking. If you were crying that Brno has an amazing cocktail scene, but not Prague - this is your spot! Finally truly visionary and unique cocktails inspired by the National theater repertoire served in a sleek space (interior design deserves a 5-star review on its own, so exclusive and easy on the eyes). The staff is incredibly professional and next level hospitable - which is a must here, as a well-mixed drink is only a job half done, it’s all about presentation. They can of course mix you the classics, but I would recommend going all in and sticking to their specials. You just feel very welcomed here and trust me - you’ll be counting days till your next visit. Btw, their opening times is something that you don’t see all that often, Sunday till 1am too...
