Beer spa Bernard Prague (in Spa Carolline hotel) — Local services in Prague

Big expectations for this but we were dissapointed generally. We were two persons and two baths. With our experience, i wouldnt recommend this beer spa.

PROS: 1.Bath itself was relaxing as long as it lasted

CONS; There was barely water in the bathtubes when we arrived. It took almost 20min to fill up the bathtube to reasonable level. If u think the bath time is 30min...this is unacceptable. This "servingboard" on top of the bathtube is totally unstable. Its not safe to keep beerglass there. If u wish to take a shower, which i think is very common thing after hot bath, you need to include this inside the 60min prodecure time. Which is ridiclous. With two persons this means that other one has very minimal bathing time(10-15min) before need to go to shower. So both have time to shower. BEER WAS ROOM TEMPERATURE. Of course If u take a beer from tap u expect it to be cold. SNACKS...salami snacks and pickles still in original packaging on a tray. Chewy bread. I belive u can buy this very same snacks for quarter of the price what they asked for.

Answer to Mr David: Our scheduled appointment was at 20.30-21.30. We indeed stayd in bath untill 21.23ish and planned to take showers then. Couple minutes after at 21.26 staff (woman) knocked and rushed us to leave in 5minutes saying that she needs still to clean and empty the baths??? We said we would like to take showers but she gave us 5minutes time. How you explain this?

Okay how exactly the staff could had changed temperature of the beer suddenly in the keg? And how long it would had taken?

We actually ringed the bell in very first minutes because from tap came only "foam". Propably because it was warm and not stored properly? So draft full glass of foam and then wait couple of minutes to settle down. Not the best way to experience the beer.

Chanced upon this beer spa and had read about it on websites. The friendly and effervescent host, Milan, was at the door of the Metamorphis hotel branch and invited us to look at what the facility had to offer without pressuring us to purchase the packages. He patiently explained to us the concept of the beer spa and answered all of our queries on the spot. Impressed with his professionalism, my wife and I decided to give it a try. Milan kindly recommended the branch near Charles Bridge called the Beer Spa Bernard Prague (Spa Caroline Hotel), which was hosted by the excellent Vera. We found the branch very well suited for couples! It was well shielded from the public eye, (rem to use the restroom on the reception floor first, before proceeding to thr bath room downstairs to shower and change out of your clothes). We did not need to bring towels, it was all provided. The place has 2 bath tubs with a beer tap located right next to it to provide you with cold beer while you immerse yourself in a hot bath tub with hops added. We decided to go with everyone of our family and friends recommendations of going to a Beer Spa. WE ARE SO GLAD WE DID. We went to the location at the Hotel Caroline across from where we are staying at Hotel Leonardo and the lady that helped us was perfection. She took us down to our private barrel tubs which were filled and ready to go and explained everything to us so we could enjoy. There is endless beer, there are endless bubbles and you will not be disappointed with the pickles and sausages platter if you’re feeling peckish! We also each had a 20 minute massage with our soak and it was professional and very enjoyable. There was a bed you could lay in if you’d like but I didn’t want to get out the tub! There are private showers and if you need anything you ring the bell and she will come help out. My husband and I are on our honeymoon and we have needed to RELAX from all wedding things and this is exactly what we didn’t know we needed.
