My friends and I decided to try the "All You Can Eat" offer at this so-called sushi restaurant, and it turned out to be a huge disappointment.
We had a particularly bad encounter with an arrogant waiter who was incredibly rude when we went to pay. He compared us to pigs simply because we couldn’t finish our last order of main dishes. When I raised my voice to address his inappropriate remarks, he falsely accused us of using vulgar language. Clearly, he needs education on the difference between a customer raising their voice and using vulgar language. His attitude and short temper were highly unprofessional and more suited to a casual bistro than a restaurant.
The only items I could somewhat enjoy were the appetizers, which were obviously just pre-prepared frozen items requiring simple reheating—essentially, the kind of basic fare you could find anywhere for much less. The sushi and main courses were well below average for Prague. The Tom Yum soup was worse than instant soup, and I had to send it back after just a few spoons. The Taco Sushi Rolls were topped with old, soggy, and stale salted chips, completely unrelated to any taco ingredients, which was just the cherry on top of a disastrous meal.
Nowhere was it mentioned that there would be a fine for unfinished meals, and we were not informed of this either. We didn’t order an excessive amount of food to justify the complaint about us leaving a lot behind. It’s reasonable to expect the staff to advise us if we were ordering too much, which we did not, so they didn’t have to. Instead, we were shocked when the female manager insisted that we either pay a fine or return to our table to finish the awful food. Forcing customers to eat poor food or face surprise penalties is completely unacceptable and shows a clear lack of professionalism.
For the price, you can certainly find better service, food, and overall experiences at many other places in Prague. This restaurant is definitely not worth the cost. It's just basic mall sushi dressed up with a...
Read moreIt's perplexing to me how a place that is called Mi Sushi could do sushi so badly. While sushi is certainly not the entirety of their menu (in fact, they have numerous chinese wok dishes and other choices...), if you have "sushi" in the name, it ought to be the hallmark quality item that you offer, I would think.
Our first warning came when the first rolls were placed on the table. When attempting to pick up a roll with chopsticks, my colleague's roll literally crumbled into a hysterical mess before our eyes. We thought that she was, perhaps, just not adept at using chopsticks (a peculiar notion, given her years living in Asia), the realization of stodgy composition was only reinforced when all other diners at the table suffered the same ill fate. No rolls that came subsequently proved any better constructed, and we all watched as our bite-sized rolls became piles of rice to be eaten like cavemen.
The fried shrimp rolls contained shrimp that were refrigerator cold, leading us to surmise (and the fact that ordered rolls appeared within in mere minutes of ordering) that the rolls are pre-made and stored in a fridge, rather than freshly rolled.
The Chinese wok dishes were slightly tastier, but just only.
We continued to order and order (it was all you could eat) hoping to find one or two serviceable (if not gems) items on the menu, but left sadly disappointed, and only to remain the rest of the day with MSG after taste and regret in our mouthes and our lives.
I cannot in good conscience recommend this dining experience to anyone but those in possession with a healthy sense of humor, since the experience became outright comedy...

The food:
they use not super fresh fish, the sashimi had a questionable quality and taste
tempura rolls was good, tartar with brown rice was also good
+they’ve got good and beautiful cocktails
it is not gourmand place, kitchen use 3 ingredients for sauce: teriyaki, cream cheese and sweet chili sauce. Idk if they positioning themselves like this, but if you expect something “impressive” - you better go somewhere else.
radish that they use for plate decoration have been use couple times and has got taste of dirty washcloth 🥲,
? They preparing everything really fast, that makes me feel like they could (in theory) stock they cutted fish more, than one day, which is not super safe. In a real Japanese sushi restaurant you actually can see how chef cut your pieces of fish and prepare everything from the 0.
Also I experienced disappointing situation in the end of dinner. I can’t blame the waitress for this, because they have got a stupid website.
We had an “all you can eat” dinner and there was no word about the fact, that we need to eat “EVERYTHING”. Also, unfortunately, waitress didn’t warned us about this fact too (maybe she forgot to do this, it could happen).
So at the the end of dinner, when we asked for the bill, waitress was passively angry about fact, that we didn’t finished our dishes. “Ale řekla jsem vám neplýtvát jídlo” (BUT SHE SAID NOTHING ABOUT IT AT THE BEGINNING OF THE DINNER)
We didn’t got any extra fee for this, but it completely destroyed...
