The barista was rude. He didn’t ask if I wanted to leave a tip and he quickly grabbed the receipt and threw it away. I happened to notice an extra charge on the receipt as he was crumpling it up. I asked him what it was for and he refused to answer. I asked if he added a tip and he said that I didn’t say he couldn’t add one. I didn’t appreciate him adding a tip without asking because I have tipped when asked. I am sure he just taking advantage of tourists and haven’t experienced this elsewhere in Prague. I ordered a cappuccino, and although I wasn’t asked for a size, I was charged for a large but received a small. This seemed like a mistake that could have been avoided with better order management, such as taking names with orders to prevent mix-ups during rush times. The barista didn't even mind that there were 10 people waiting for their coffee, she just took more and more orders from people coming in. The place is nice but the atmosphere was ruined by the angry customers who had been waiting so long. It's a national holiday and they can't manage to get at least 2 employees to work, the management is crazy.
