I visited here twice for all you can eat. First off on the weekend and second one (probably the last one) during weekdays.
At first, I can clearly say that if you decide to visit here during the weekend, you also accept the poor customer service as well as rude waiter behavior. So much so that if you are alone, they make up silly excuses for all you can eat so that you don't accept them, for example: "you need to be a minimum of 2 people for the all you can eat menu." Dude, this is downright and indisputable rudeness.
All of the sushies have no taste, exactly no taste for sure. Also, if you go on the weekend, it's impossible to find sashimi on the platform. If you visit on weekdays and if you are lucky enough, you might see some sashimi plates on the platform, but only salmon sashimi. I never ever see any type of sashimi except salmon (sake) such as akami, chutoro, hotoro, otate, basashi, kanpachi, suzuki, awabi, hamachi and so on. I already said that if you go on the weekend, you won't be able to see any sashimi, right?
As for fruit, I saw only pineapple, orange and green grapes. (when I went on the weekend, I couldn't see oranges and green grapes either. thank god...) For dessert, there was nothing but a simple and unclear orange jelly and tiramisu. That's all.
Prices for all you can eat menus are something like that: Weekdays 11:00 - 17:00 = 368 Kč Weekdays 17:00 - 22:00 = 418 Kč Weekends 11:00 - 17:00 = 398 Kč Weekends 17:00 - 22:00 = 438 Kč
So, the only thing that I can say about the prices that: the prices are expensive for the quality they offer (all you can eat dinner on weekdays average €17)
And the biggest fail: they only accept cash. Hey buddy, we live in 2022 and still encounter this kind of restaurants that does not accept card payment. Please...
Long story short, I strongly do not recommend for all you can eat and other sushi meals here. You are in Prague, at the heart of Europe and if you want to eat a nice sushi meal, I am pretty sure that you can find much much better...
Read moreOn October 29, 2024, at 18:28, my wife and I went to a place called Running Sushi to eat. The rudest manager I have ever seen in my life. The long-haired, tall, young and fluent English-speaking female staff (manager) first shouted at me in English and then swore at me in Czech. Although there were empty tables, she made us sit at the last table because there were 2 of us. Because what that female manager wanted was to seat 4 people at the front tables and to place the few people at the last tables. We waited for 1 hour and 30 minutes for food. But since we were in the back row, there was no food left for us. I will never come again. I do not recommend this place. The staff does not know how to talk to people. The manager should take this situation seriously and teach the staff how to talk to customers.
It was not nice at all for the manager of the place to talk to me like that in front of people. Everyone looked at us with bad eyes while my wife and I were eating our meal. It was the worst experience I have ever...
Read moreWe went to Running Sushi because we attracted to their long sushi conveyor belt and the All You Can Eat buffet sounded pretty cool. But, with hindsight, we should've turned & ran when we saw the non appealing sushi there. None of the sushi was fresh – we saw a lot of them just going round and round on the conveyor belt for 90 minutes. Everything tasted like it was from a cheap supermarket (like the salmon). Plus, there wasn't much interesting stuff (i.e. like real sushi) and nothing tasted good – the meat (prawns and beef) was super dry, and some dishes had weird stuff on them (like only having a tiny slice of orange on a plate!). We're South East Asian and we eat Japanese food every week for 25 years, and this was the worst sushi we've ever had. The prices were alright, though. It cost us 970kc for two of us, with drinks, although we had to have our 2nd lunch in the Thai place afterwards. Definitely don't go, there're plenty of choices inside...
