Very disappointing customer service – not recommended
We arrived as a group of four without a reservation and waited in line. There was only one couple ahead of us. When it was our turn, a staff member told us that their second location had a table for four and suggested we go there instead. We started walking, but after barely 20 meters we realized we had to check out of our hotel by noon and wouldn’t have enough time. So we immediately turned around — less than two minutes later.
By the time we got back, the line had grown. We explained the situation to the same staff member and asked if we could return to our previous spot in line. He refused, insisting that we had to go all the way to the back and queue again — completely dismissing our explanation.
His attitude was unfriendly and the whole situation made absolutely no sense. We hadn’t actually left, we didn’t eat anywhere else, and it was obvious we simply changed our minds and came right back. But there was no understanding, no flexibility, and certainly no sense of good customer service.
In the end, we decided not to eat there. A shame — but honestly, not a loss with service like that.
Update – disappointing response from the venue
I appreciate that fairness in managing queues is important. However, to clarify: we didn’t try to skip the line. We were told by staff that we could go to their second location where a table was available. After walking less than 20 meters, we realized — within less than a minute — that we wouldn’t have enough time due to our hotel checkout, and turned back immediately.
When we politely explained the situation, the staff member dismissed us with a flippant “Sorry bro” and insisted we start from the back of the now much longer line. That kind of attitude, paired with a complete lack of flexibility, was extremely unprofessional — especially considering we had simply followed their instructions.
The venue’s response to our review only reinforces the lack of understanding and customer care. The problem wasn’t about “jumping the line” — it was about how poorly the situation...

I have just made an incredible culinary discovery in the heart of Prague: the "Venue" restaurant. This place is simply a must-visit for anyone exploring this beautiful city.
I went there for brunch and I must say I was truly impressed. The food served is of high quality, with authentic flavors that would satisfy even the finest gourmets. Each dish was prepared with care and creativity, highlighting the fresh ingredients and original recipes.
The ambiance of the restaurant is enhanced by the incredibly friendly staff. They are attentive, professional, and always ready to help, making the overall experience even more enjoyable. They contributed to a warm and friendly atmosphere.
The location of the restaurant could not be better. It is perfectly situated in the center of Prague, making it easily accessible. The place is ideal for a pleasant break after a day of sightseeing.
And on top of all this, the price is very reasonable. Given the quality of the service and food, I find the price non-excessive, making this experience even tastier.
In conclusion, I am extremely satisfied with my visit to the "Venue". If you are looking for a place to brunch in Prague, look no further. "Venue" is the perfect spot for a memorable culinary experience. I am looking forward to coming back to try other dishes...
Read moreFirst of all, I would like to say that this review is not going to criticize some details but encourage you to work on them to become a perfect spot!
In general, the place is very comfy, but quite crowded, due to the good reviews, probably this is why there is a huge line to the restaurant and probably there is nothing what you can do. And sure, in many good places you need to wait to be well served.
The portions that you get are big, affordable according to the price and worth the price, but in my opinion the amount of bacon added to the dish is too much, I can eat a lot but 6 slices of bacon I think it’s an overkill for any typical eater.
Everything was served with focus to all the small details, just look how the coffee was served. I can notice that people who run this place they exactly know what they do. I would only like to suggest you not making tea like this. The tea that I ordered was very weak and I really needed something stronger for my digestive system. Imagine Brits or other “tea” nations coming to your place, they could feel disappointed about this one little thing.
The staff was friendly but quite slow. It was so hard to get the eye-contact with the waitress, and I think it’s quite important. Due to such lack we were waiting around 20 minutes to get the bill - while the people outside were waiting to sit and...
