Recently we visited this Indian restaurent in Copenhagen during our Scandinavia Tour with Veena World Tours. This restaurent has wide seating arrangements and serves Indian muglai and non muglai cuisines. We had ordered a wide range of dishes comprising of mix vegetable, malai paneer, Dal Tadka, fried papads, steamed rice, Chicken masala, salad, nans, cucumber raita and followed by Rice Khir. To start with all the dishes were really delicious, mouth watering, paneer masala for its awsome taste , dal tadka for its unique taste with garlic-red pepper (lal mirch) garnered oil tadka, paneer was soft and tender soaked in tasty cream based curry, very juicy delicious chicken cooked to fineness soaked in Indian masala, tender soft- hot tandoori nans unbelievably soft silky fluffy texture tempting to over eat. Rice was steaming hot with rich basmati flavour, raita was was prepared with freshly prepared Indian yoghurt rather to be called ' dahi' beaten to softness for a uniform paste with crispy strands of green cucumber, To end with rice khir was typical Gurudwara style rice cooked in milk and thickened to exact consistency which was not too liquid and not too thick but just mouth licking khir with sugar enough to enjoy to relish the sweetness. The milk was thickened over seam fire to get the desired original gurudwara taste. This was established reportedly some 20 years ago by the Sr. Sardarji and Sardarni from Punjab. Now their son and daughter help s assistants catering to the guests. All are known for their king like hospitality and caring attitude with true love for the guests to know their likings.
We wish them a roaring business and fame all over the world for their unique taste in remote corner of the world with genuine...
Read moreThe food here was really good.
I had a take away to eat at our hotel with family on New Years Eve
We ordered :
I am from India and I am quite a foodie hence I know what good Indian food tastes like and I am very satisfied with the food here in fact myself and my family really loved it and it’s also pretty reasonably priced for the food quality that they offer.
We didn’t immediately eat the food, we went via train to our hotel location from the central station in 5 degrees (feels like -5degrees on apple weather) they packed the food very well for me to carry it, I am sure if I had decided to dine in then it would be an even better experience.
I would highly recommend eating here if you are looking for some Authentic Indian Food.
P.S. Sorry for the really bad pictures as by the time I decided to write the review there nothing left in...
Read moreThe food was very delicious. I like that they give you 4 different spice levels from mild to spicy. I’m vegetarian and ordered paneer and my friend went for butter chicken. That’s why I can only give 3 stars because they served me the chicken. I asked is this the paneer and he said yes and said and this is the chicken and gave it to my friend. He actually had mistaken the foods. Because of that I ate a piece of chicken. I never expected this to happen in an Indian restaurant! Especially for an Indian restaurant this is completely unacceptable. The worst is they did not even say sorry. Two servers both heard that they did give me meat and none of them bothered to say sorry. The one who gave it to me even said yeah I see you figured it out and exchanged. Yes we did but it doesn’t change that I ate meat which I did not want too! I don’t understand this behavior because apart from that both were really lovely people. For vegetarians maybe not the best place. Apart from that an overall good...
