the rudest restaurant I have ever seen in my life. the restaurant positions itself as Italian, with "Italian service and hospitality". I have been to Italy three times and to other 23 countries of the world, but in no restaurant have I met such a rude staff. my mother and I were passing through Berlin and wanted to have a quick and tasty lunch. the restaurant menu seemed attractive. I don't speak German at a sufficient level, so I spoke to the waiter in English when ordering. the waiter took the order for pizza, which was prepared quite quickly. however, it was brought uncut, and we were not even served plates. I didn't have time to orientate myself right away, as Bila is busy planning the trip route on her phone. noticing that I had no plates, utensils, the pizza was not cut, I called the waiter to provide us with proper service. after which the waiter took the pizza from the table and took it to the kitchen (which I consider completely unacceptable. if the dish is not processed - it should be served or cut by the guests. it is a pity that the restaurant and the staff do not know about this). when the waiter brought the sliced โโpizza, he began to address me in a disrespectful tone, starting to poke me that I was ordering improperly. turns out I should have told the waiter that I wanted the pizza sliced โโand got the plates. crazy, I think, in no restaurant in Italy I was served uncut pizza or the table was not served after the dishes were brought. at the same time, the waiter spoke in an extremely disrespectful manner, teasing me about my Ukrainian origin and the fact that "in Germany, everything is not the same as in your Ukraine or Russia." I am extremely ashamed that somewhere in the center of Berlin, the staff allows themselves to shout at a customer, openly mock a superior tone, poke at his origin, while not providing proper service. also, the waiter did not explain that according to the rules of the establishment, it is necessary to order a drink together with the meal. if, according to the waiter, "communication is key in Germany" - why was there no proper back-and-forth communication? so, violation of basic restaurant etiquette, shouting, rudeness, oppression based on origin, ridicule and superior attitude - this is what awaits you in this...

Unfortunately, after traveling halfway across the world, I can honestly say this was the worst pasta Iโve ever had. The noodles were undercooked, and the sauce was bland.
The service was equally disappointing. The wait staff seemed overwhelmed, and we barely received any attention from the moment we walked in. I understand it was a busy night, but the lack of service was noticeable. Bread, which is usually served at the beginning of the meal in most Italian restaurants, only arrived at the end, which felt strange.
Lastly, I was informed that tap water wasnโt available, which was fine, but having to take my medication with soft drink was less than ideal.
Iโm usually someone who leaves positive reviews, but this experience fell well below expectations, especially given the pre-marathon crowd. It might not be their usual standard, but itโs something to keep in mind if youโre...
ย ย ย Read moreIf you have an allergy then watch out! We informed the restaurant ONE MONTH in advance about one student of ours who has severe allergies. We wsere told that that would not be a problem. We discussed it for A SECOND TIME on site. Then, when the food was brought the student ASKED AGAIN if she could eat everything on her plate because she was suspicious about the food containing substances (dairy products) that would cause her an allergy. "Yes, no problem!" the waiter said. "We did'nt use butter." The student ASKED AGAIN to be really sure and the waiter replied in an irritated manner that she could eat it. Five minutes later the waiter came back and told her that in fact butter has been used....... She had taken a few bites of the food by then. The student became sick about an hour later. When I rang the restaurant to inform them about what had happended the person on the phone told me it wasn't their fault!! That she probably ate something wrong in another restaurant.... Then he told me that it was very busy so bye bye!!
If you treat your customers this way than you don't deserve to be open. Ridiculous!! We never go...
