Quaint wood-fired pizza shop in Asakusa staffed by the chef and two female staff.

FOOD: 5 Ordered beef stew, margherita pizza, grilled green onions and dessert. Beef stew was delicious, very tomatoey with nice chunks of tender beef. Pizza was delicious with a light, simple tomato sauce. Fired green onions were topped with grated parmesan cheese and tossed with salt. Simple and good. Chocolate cake and Tiramisu were both large portions and can be shared.

SERVICE: 3 needs improvement One female staff was very cheerful, while the other one was expressionless and put the food/drinks on our table without a word, explanation, smile, nothing. When we entered the dour one said nothing, placed menus on our table and walked away.

ATMOSPHERE: 4 Nice ambiance, clean. Laguiole utensils. Tables for 2, counter, and larger seating area in the...

Last night we went to eat pizza. For most maybe not a first choice during a holiday to Japan, at least it wasn't for us. But we do not regret it. Often you see Japan influenced versions and have experienced this before with another restaurant.

BUT I can honestly say the pizzas we had were very, very good and italian-esque. Correct thickness, proper crust, good ingredient choices and in my opinion a very fair price for what you get.

Sadly no pictures to share outside of their pizza oven since we finished before we even considered taking a picture (it was that good).

Also before I forget, Friendly staff, and an English menu available for the less Japanese fluent (like us).

If you are in the Asakusa area, it is worth checking out. Highly...

Beware of this place Though it's a high-ranked on Google, you need to keep in mind that: Prices are higher for the same positions than in other places (average size pizza 2-3k JPY) Pasta around 2k

They charge every guest 400 JPY if you don't order a drink(that starts somewhere around 700 JPY for a sip of soda) So it's an expensive, torust-oriented place (read, overpised) Pizza is good though, but not worth all the struggle

upd: Yay, answer from owner in passive-aggresive way, drink starting from 700 JPY for a sip of cola is not a bare minimum cost, rich tourists will pay for...

Came to this lovely restaurant on recommendation of a local. Ordered the offal with verde sauce as a starter and then a kiraku pizza (basically omakase). Chef made me a half and half - <whitebait, mozzarella, pistachios> and <ricotta, sweet potatoes, smoked ham>. It was so special and delicious. I love it when chefs get creative and it turns out well. Also - they have a hot stone oven. Restaurant was very well decorated with good ambience. I was the only tourist and they were kind to me 🥰

I am so lucky with this restaurant. I can’t reserve table but was empty when we arrived. And then arrived other guest too. Where I start? They speak a bit Italian. The pizza first class, my son ate some paste what was delicious too, my ate a salad she liked. The place not too big but enough and nice the atmosphere. I like here. Have some local beer was delicious. The prices are correct. If you look after a cool Italian style pizzeria here is your place!
