•If you go here for melon pan ice cream sandwiches, you won't regret it!! Just bread or ice cream is probably average, but the ice cream sandwich was delightful.

•What is melon pan? Melon pan is a sweet dessert bread. It has a melon shape, a subtle sweetness in the bread itself, and a sugar coating on top. The inside is soft and the outside is a tad crisp or firm.

•Ice cream flavors: they have several flavors available for individual purchase, but the ones available for the sandwiches are chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, matcha, cookies & cream, caramel, and a seasonal flavor (maybe some I’m forgetting). We were intrigued at seeing everyone eating ice-cream sandwiches and initially thought it was a food fad, however we decided today after a month in Japan to try one and we were glad we waited as they are weirdly delicious and very sweet

If the matcha was a little bit more bitter then it would have contrasted more with the sweetness of the sandwich as it was sugary and sweet.

Pretty good sandwich and we love anything sweet.

Recommendations You should try one just one and see if you like it or not.

Melon bun, we saw a big line up for it, so thought to give it a try. It was.. underwhelming. We got the original. Perhaps should have grab it with filling to make it a tastier. Wished it is a bit warmer and crispier.

Overall Kel rating: ★★★/5 The good: Quick line up, as all the buns are pre packaged The decent: Touristy area, so expect a busy environment. The ugly: Not a fan, lots of other pastry shops to consider...
