Stumbled upon this place exploring Asakusa! DON'T pay attention to the negative reviews! They obviously know nothing about this type of ramen. If you like ramen, especially kotteri (thick soup) you'll love this. Amazing they could get such a rich broth with chicken. I've been coming to Japan for 20+ years with 30+ trips experience, so I kinda know what I'm talking about. Check it out! I recommend getting a small bowl of rice too. Literally the best Ramen I had in Japan. My japanese Friends were all surprised that there is a ramenshop with such authentic taste in a very touristy area like asakusa. Returned to Asakusa a lot of times during my visit just for this shop. Definetly go here if you want great ramen(also for vegans and moslems), great atmosphere and a super chill and friendly staff!! My first time trying Tori paitan and I loved it. The noodles are wavy with good chew, the chicken breast slices are delicious - very tender and great flavor. The sudachi slice and shiso paste, etc. are great for keeping the flavor exciting but my husband said the taste was so wonderful as is he didn't want to change it at all. The chicken broth ramen was quite rich (こってり), and the addition of citrus—maybe lemon or some other fruit—was creative, though not really to my taste. One of the staff members was a native English speaker, which made communication very smooth. Unfortunately, I found a bug in the water jug, which really put me off from drinking any more, even though the rich broth left me quite thirsty at the end. Overall, a mixed experience.

Aug 2023: ordered ramen at the entrance ticket machine, the machine with little bit English translation. I just random pick one of the ramen types. The food came fast and quality was so good. Ramen at Japan would not disappointing. The soup was thick and creamy but won’t oily. The chicken was fresh. Ramen just like made by the chef few minutes ago.
