Do not eat here.

Food is alright, but service is terrible.

I have absolutely no idea how this place was rated 4.3 stars when we found it in Google Maps.

Didn't want to seat us because "table too big for 2 people". We offered to eat fast and share a table if needed.

They then made the wrong food. Did not even mention it. That's fine, we just ate it.

Part way through was told they didn't have something we ordered, which is fine, just order something else right?

Wrong. The male waiter was utterly confused that we wanted to order something else to replace the dish they didn't have.

We found out that puts the item "at the end of the line" so even after we were done eating, the food hadn't arrived. We asked to cancel it and they said no. We were told that it was OUR fault and our mistake for "ordering last". I asked the manager and she said "wait another 10 minutes".

Not once did they say sorry and they kept insisting it was our fault for ordering it.

We just asked for the bill, which came INSTANTLY, paid for the item we never...

My partner & I had dinner here, we are very partial to Japanese, especially when you’ve been eating a lot of spicy food. The restaurant is not fancy, but it’s clean and has simple Japanese decorations. We ordered Gyoza to share, they were actually really good - tasty and beautifully cooked, steamed one side, pan fried on the other. I could have easily eaten more, yum. We then shared Teppanyaki Chicken and Teppanyaki Beef. Both were served with a generous serving of stir-fried mixed veg (cabbage, carrot, capsicum). A very nice Japanese restaurant that gives off a classic vibe and puts me in a nostalgic mood. The ambience is clean, neat and fairly minimalist. Food is excellent and service is 5-star quality. Tried and totally enjoyed the Chicken Teriyaki & Teppanyaki sets (delicious and not oversalted), very umami tasting Okonomiyaki, very satisfying Tamagoyaki (in-house version is gigantic and satisfying), and last but not least, the premium grade sashimi, fresh and top quality, airflown in from Japan.
