went there in the afternoon and was so upset with the whole situation happened in the cafe.

When walked in there were no “ WELCOME “ word used at all.. pin drop silent where made us feel they didn’t want us there when there were no customers at all, Unfriendly and arrogant i must say.

Very unpleasant tone and explanation given when asked why the back part is not open to walk around, reason given they changed the back part to Airbnb.

Only coffee and dessert were served ( acceptable because that is what we were looking for ) but as soon as we sat the owner looked at the employer and whispered something in mandarin which made her glance at me, which was uncomfortable. We were the only customers with a pin drop silence in the shop and how uncomfortable would a person be when the owner and employees glancing at each other as tho they didn’t want us there.

Being so uncomfortable we decided to leave, and we said “ i’m sorry but i think we will come another day” in a very polite manner despite such service. The owner and employee then looked at each other with a sarcastic face and sighed, then the owner said “ if u want more food u can follow me to my another shop “ then proceeded to guide us there. Do u think i’m going to spend my money in your “another shop”. No way!

Overall the attitude and service astound me as u can accept this behaviour from a “kopitiam tepi jalan” but not a cafe. Never have I ever been in any cafe that has ever treated us like...

If you read my review on Ibis Melaka, the morning adventure is seeking for breakfast options, which was a casual walk within 10 minutes away. I did my Google search and was directed to this hidden place that I initially thought was an abandon building.I hesitantly walked towards the glassed entrance and realized it was a pretty big place indeed.

They had a really good breakfast menu along with other options should you decide to pop in for lunch of evening snacks. I went classic for their Honey Cream Pancake and hot Latte. They make their own pancake batter which is free from industrial preservatives. The pancake is simple yet savory. Their menu is vegetarian friendly too, thus you do have a good number of options to enjoy, when you are in Melaka.

I asked if it was possible for me to take some photos and they were obliging. So, do take a look at the attached photos and their serving menu too. Whilst they look they are understaffed, their service is prompt, if you are willing to wait for a while. As I understand, they have been in business for the past 10 years.

As far as I am concerned, food price is reasonable, and the serving is wholesome. I recommend you to visit them when you are in Melaka. Keep a look out or use your Google Map to guide you their because you can easily miss...

This is the first place where it makes me write a bad review. Their service is the worst service I ever had. Not even smiling at customers. Not polite. You saw us standing outside the store and we scanned the mysejahtera qr code, but you don’t open the door until we rang the bell. Then, you asked us to scan our temperature with your softtttt voice and we don’t understand what you said. You don’t give us the temperature scanner but just pointed at it with your hand. Your chocolate milk is considered as your signature drinks, but it is just three chocolate cubes and a cup of “hot” milk, not hot at all, cannot even melt the chocolate. Expensive and your food is not nice, it’s okay. Your service is really...

Good ambient with great food. Due to social distancing can’t accommodate large group and need to sit with distance even if come in couple. (They take it seriously which is a good thing!) One thing that can be improved is the menu. There’s no picture so it’s quite hard to imaging even though with word description. Need to search on social media for recommendation. Or perhaps can change to digital menu with QR code scan, quite a lot of restaurants doing that since COVID. Had the truffles mushroom quesadilla & mushroom pancake which are both great. Desserts are within expectation and more of a photo props :p

Travel Cafe Eat Drink - Malaysia & Asia EAT 18 cafe has a rustic and tropical ambiance, blending nature with vintage architecture. The exterior is covered in lush greenery, including cascading ferns and climbing plants, giving it a cozy, hidden-gem feel. The interior has a mix of open-air seating with gravel flooring and a courtyard filled with large-leafed plants, creating a serene atmosphere. The cafe’s overall aesthetic combines old-world charm with a refreshing, natural touch. Menu consist mainly on western fusion. Last but not least, this place definitely needs a re-image, it's looks tired
