I'm thrilled to share my exceptional dining experience at Restoran The Kappan House, where I had the pleasure of indulging in their signature traditional dish, Kappan Cendol. This hidden gem is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic, mouth-watering Malaysian cuisine. The Kappan Cendol, priced at an unbeatable RM$4.50, exceeded my expectations in every way. The generous serving of soft, chewy cendol noodles was perfectly balanced by the sweet, creamy coconut milk and the crunch of ice. The combination of flavors and textures was absolute perfection. What truly sets Restoran The Kappan House apart is the evident passion and dedication to preserving traditional Malaysian recipes. The love and care that goes into preparing each dish is palpable, and it's clear that the chefs are committed to using only the freshest, highest-quality ingredients. The service was warm and welcoming, with friendly staff happy to answer questions and make recommendations. The cozy, rustic atmosphere of the restaurant added to the overall charm of the experience. In short, Restoran The Kappan House is a culinary treasure that deserves to be celebrated. Don't miss the opportunity to try their incredible Kappan Cendol – your taste buds will thank you! - Rating: 5/5 stars - Price: Unbeatable value - Service: Warm and welcoming - Food Quality: Exceptional Recommended for: Foodies, fans of traditional Malaysian cuisine, and anyone seeking an unforgettable dining experience.

Melaka is one of my favourite place to visit! We explored Melaka on 2 March 2022 during a low season for a day trip! In March, the town was so quiet and sad to see the businesses have been affected during the pandemic. We stopped by at the  Kappan House Restaurant for dessert after lunch. Surprisingly their Cendol was super delicious and the taste was even better than Jonker 88. The Kappan served fresh and creamy coconut milk infused in shaved ice, red beans are delicious, most fragrant gula Malacca with their homemade secret recipe to enhance the taste of the sticky gula melaka , one of the best and delicious Cendol in Melaka that you must try!

Visited in Feb23. Came here for cendol only. Actually their cendol is quite good although a bit sweet but gula malacca fragrance smell good & with santan milk. ABC is bigger bowl with lots of ingredients such as peanut, corn, cendol & jelly. ABC not that sweet compare with the cendol bowl but also pour with gula malacca. They have food also. I would recommend their ABC & cendol. The owner is very nice & friendly . Due to is lap chun during the day I visited, they stand the eggs in front their shop & also offer to their customer if they wanna try & give you egg to try out.

I don't often post reviews, but this place was too lovely not to leave one.

First, the food was great - our family enjoyed the home-styled cooking (spicy otah fried rice, special Kappan fried rice, dumplings soup, yongtaufoo, and nyonya braised pork) and cendol + ABC. Next, service was efficient but unfalteringly warm - we were greeted by the young owner who put up with our many requests and additional orders. :') He was also gracious and warm to our elderly parents.

Additionally, we accidently left one of our important belongings behind. The owner was kind enough to wait for us past closing hours and greeted us cheerfully, safely returning it.

Great service and lovely...
