It’s a typical tourist-catering establishment peddling alcoholic drinks and food, with all kinds of promotions to counter the competition.

Being famished and needed to rest my legs, I thought to give it try.

The longish main menu has nothing that catches the eye nor stir a gustatory sense. They tacos are not traditional Mexican, but the usual TexMex or CalMex concoction that I find objectionable. They even have a “Seafood Guacamole”, real corruption of the simple and luscious guac, the very symbol of Mexican cuisine.

They have a curious alternative they call Sushi, which I am skeptical of. But since they don’t claim to be Japanese, I decided to try their rolls.

—- To be clear real Maki or Sushi roll is always made with plain helping of fish, Japonica rice wrapped in Nori. No sauces.

Here, there rolls are NOT real sushi. But they look like they’re good concoction and little or no sauce….THOSE SAUCE KILL THE FLAVOR OF FISH.

Their Hamachi, Solomon and Salmon Tropical fish rolls turned out good. There’s little or no sauce.

-The Himachi is free of sauce, just fish for the pleasure of palate👍👍👍

—The Salmon Tropical, a surprisingly pleasant combination of salmon and mango with just a drizzle of nondescript sauce.👌👌👌

—The Solomon is a gemisch of chopped seafood mixed in some light mayo base…just okay

I hope this review will catch the attention of the owner, after eating in this restaurant for about 3-4 times over last few weeks and was very happy with the food and service, I came tonight for a dinner with my parents. The guy who stand by the entrance (he refused to tell me his name but he is short chabby older guy with eye glasses) was super rude and un respectful. He said that , at the moment there is no tables available and we need to wait some time. We had no problem waiting but the tone and the way he spoke to me made me go away and I will definitely never comes back and Will never support this business again. If the owner is reading this, I do like your place but the reason I will never come back is only because this 1 employee you have. You need to teach him that the customer is always right and before he talks he need to listen what the client is saying and only after finish talking he can respond. As a business owner myself I do feel very bad posting you a bad review (I almost never do that) but you employee made me leave very angry and I had no choice. This is not the way ay to treat customers. specially not to someone who live here and kind of a regular customer. This stupid guy, costing you feature $$$, at lease...

Yesterday, Saturday, February 26th, we went to Solomon's Landing restaurant, in Cabo San Lucas, intrigued by the offer of " two for one" margaritas. The hostess escorted us to the bar, saying we could not sit at a table for this deal. Margaritas arrive, very shallow glass, TONS of ice. When we were ready to leave, we were given a check for 125 pesos. We questioned this and ultimately a manager arrived, saying, since the menu price for a margarita was 70 pesos EACH, OUR bill would be 140 pesos and 125 was a discount and the deal only applied to customers sitting at tables. We said that hostess had said we could NOT sit at a table, and had to sit at bar. Manager insisted that cost was 125 pesos. We said that we had come specifically for the two for one offer. It is our feeling that this is a way of taking advantage of people afraid to speak up. We are not. Your sign offers two for one margaritas at the menu price of 70 pesos. Taking advantage of tourists is DISGUSTING' WE WILL NOT BE Back and were NOT going to pay more than 70 pesos. After much back and forth, the manager said Okay after we told him that we will inform OTHER PEOPLE NOT TO...

We heard good things from locals about Solomon's Landing, so we decided to give it a go for lunch on a recent afternoon in the marina area in Cabo San Lucas. The ambiance is great, right on the marina, great views, people watching, and very friendly locals to chat with at the bar. We tried the craft cocktails, a guava margarita and a watermelon cocktail, both cocktails were too sweet for our taste so we switched over to wine and beer ... the house pinot grigio was fantastic and the Pacifico was perfect in a frozen mug with a squeeze of lime. We ordered the fish ceviche as an appetizer, good and fresh, but a bit too heavy on the tomato sauce in the juice. The chips served with the ceviche were great. We tried the fish tacos next ... great dish, great flavor, but the tempura batter on the seabass was a bit too much... we ended up tearing off much of the batter to reveal a fantastic fish taco underneath. All-in-all and OK experience at Solomon's, not terrible, but not great. Prices were reasonable, service was good, food and beverage just OK.

Excellent food joint, and very well placed. We were looking for a place that serves good Mexican food and also have decent veggie choices. Soloman's landing was recommended by a few folks working in the area. I was not very confident going in as ot could have been a hit or a miss. However The food was amazing Fiestly veggie fajitas were the best Ive ever had and they didnt serve any rice with it, which was a very good thing. The guacamole and beans served with fajitas were very fresh and flavorful. But the best was the veggies, cooked in a tomato based simmer with lot of flavors packed in a balanced mode The nachos were excellent ( again veggie) Shrimp tacos were also a big hit, kids loved those. Nothing was overloaded with sauces, chilli or salt. Every thing well balanced in all respects. Loved it. May go there again this week
