Our visit to the Irish Pub in Pokhara left us absolutely delighted. It's safe to say that we had one of the best burgers ever – the beef burger with an over-easy egg on top was an absolute standout. Each bite was a burst of flavor, and the combination of juicy beef and a perfectly cooked egg was a true culinary masterpiece. And let's not forget the fries – they were incredible too, the ideal complement to a mouthwatering burger.
While I was initially a tad disappointed that my Guinness came from a can, it didn't take away from the overall experience. Enjoying a refreshing Guinness on the patio during dinner was still a delightful choice.
The Irish Pub is massive, stretching back almost to the lake. This spacious layout adds to its charm, providing ample seating and a relaxed atmosphere where you can enjoy your meal and drinks.
But it wasn't just the food and drink that impressed us. The Wednesday band was fantastic, offering a delightful mix of classic hits and Nepali music. Their performance added an extra layer of enjoyment to our evening, making it a memorable experience.
In conclusion, the Irish Pub in Pokhara is a must-visit for anyone looking for a delightful culinary experience paired with great entertainment. From the outstanding burger and fries to the refreshing drinks and live music, it's a place that truly has it all. Whether you're a local or a traveler passing through, make sure to put this pub on your list – you won't be...
Read moreVisited here recently and found it such a shame that an establishment of this size and potential was so dead. Myself and partner were the only customers in the entire place which can really be a vibe killer. This is not the establishments fault but it really does have an affect on the customer experience when the atmosphere is so minimal. We witnessed a band member setting up to play music, to an empty bar!? We actually felt quite bad on leaving… had a Guinness and a vodka cranberry. Ratio of vodka to cranberry was quite off and I struggled to get in down as it was practically neat! But hey, this might be a great deal for somebody else.
We visited the other site owned by the same person in Namche Bazaar having completed a trek and they are both quite impressive takes on a...
Read moreFirst time i visited in 2016 and 2017 with my friends, i liked everything about this bar...the atmosphere, the ambience, the music, the food....friendly servers...a 4.5 star. But, visited again in 2019 and i was dissapointed to some extent. The food quality has declined. Its good to see the live kitchen but, the food they served did not meet my expectations like it did in 2016. The staff are not so welcoming. It's great to promote local bands but, in weekend you should at least make arrangement for professional artists. Good thing they still have 6PM-8PM happy hours though it implies only on cocktails which all are no less than 500 bucks each 😬😬 Not sure if i will...
