A nice relaxing atmosphere with cool music and abience. This is a nice place to have a couple drinks after work, and perhaps grab a simple bite Service is a bit slow. It must be Amsterdam, but this is nearly the 2nd time in the same day that we ordered food and didn't get anything. After 20 minutes here, when many others who came after and ordered after us are already eating food (burgers and stuff), we have nothing. I ask the waitress (who seems to be having a bad day) about the order who gets a bit of an attitude and dismisses me saying that it is already out. Then they all start hopping around double time to figure out where is it all sitting. It appears that the Fries didn't get started, and so we got served our cold sandwiches (I could tell that mine was probably hot about 10 minutes ago). Fries were hot! Food was simple, and ok. Good location for a beer, nice environment indoors, with cosy decor. However, this is not more than a location for drinks. It is a little bit hidden, especially when the outdoor serving is closed, keep your eyes open a bit extra when getting there.

Food: My group made the mistake of ordering food too, which we can't recommend. The burgers were plain, felt cheap (which they were not) and caused some stomachaches. The servers seemed confused when asking about allergens.

Staff: Nice but confused (?) waiters. We had three different waiters dropping by our table, ready to take our order a few too many times while we had already put it in. Felt a bit unorganised. As mentioned above, unknowing about allergies made me feel uncomfortable.

Beer: Good assortment but nothing too special.

Finding the alleyway entrance can present a slight challenge. Unnoticed by the casual passerby is the inviting space, friendly staff, and lively music. Classic dishes are built with modern interpretations. Kudos to the team behind the recently remodelled interior. Multiple blackboards list 50 local and rotating explorations into fermentation. Every item on the seasonal menu is crafted with an eye for presentation and flavour.

Nachos layer tortilla chips made in-house with carefully selected ingredients. Adding the pulled pork is a must along with a drizzle of buffalo sauce.
