I must say, this place in Lisbon serves the absolute best Pastel de Nata. Despite trying numerous versions, including the renowned one in Belém, nothing quite compared to the exquisite pastries here. They have truly mastered the art of creating the perfect Pastel de Nata.

What sets them apart is not only the heavenly custard inside but also the outer pastry. It's wonderfully buttery and carries a delightful salty undertone, which beautifully complements the custard's sweetness. Moreover, the fact that they provide cinnamon and powdered sugar sachets for takeaway is a thoughtful touch, allowing you to customize your treat to perfection.

As for accessibility, there's a small step to enter, which might pose a minor challenge for wheelchairs, but it's primarily to reach the food counter. Unfortunately, the upstairs dining area lacks a lift, but this isn't a significant drawback. I chose to enjoy my treats in the outdoor seating area, which was quite pleasant.

In fact, this spot left such an impression that we couldn't resist returning multiple times during our stay in Lisbon. The combination of exceptional Pastel de Nata and the inviting atmosphere made it an absolute must-visit. If you're a fan of this Portuguese delicacy, you won't want to miss out on the experience this venue...

Double check your receipts! I had a really bad experience here today. I ordered three savory pastries which were labeled as €2.30 each. At the register, the server tried to charge me €2.95 each. I requested that I take away the food instead and asked if the price would be different. The male staff member insisted that there was only one price so I paid for my food and left confused. I looked at my receipt and saw that I had been cheated so I went back in and asked why I was charged more than the displayed price. The same male staff member told me it was because he had already charged me for eating in and I only asked about it after. This was not true at all as I queried before I paid and he had insisted there was only one price. He didn’t say a word and just waved over the manager who refunded me the money they had overcharged me. What’s more shocking was that the manager was there when he initially scammed me and went along with it. The male staff member was not apologetic about what he did but instead was really snappy. Super disappointing experience. The food was okay but I will never...

I just wrote a good review that day and I was deeply disappointed today. I ordered a set with wine which cost 4.5 Euro & a box of 6 pieces which is 6.6 Euro. They charged me 17.70 and I thought a bit weird but the cashier (manager) acted so fast with her changes and she returned me 22.30 euro which is 10 Euro lesser. I asked for the bill and she immediately passed me the 10 Euro balance without a sorry. I checked the box of 6pieces they gave me, and double checked with my bill again until I realised they really charged me double for the 6pieces box. I returned to the counter and they returned me the extra charges but it was a really disgraceful experience especially the attitude of the manager who attended me. Please treat your customer right, and do your calculation! I advice the customers to check your bill every time during purchase. Otherwise the egg tarts are...
