The Den — Restaurant in Cotswold District

I cannot understand why this little gem doesn't have a huge orange dropper pointing to it on Maps. The whole experience is hands down the best for a breakfast place my wife and I have ever had worldwide!

The produce simply has to come from a farm because the quality is top notch. Albeit my wife and I are not vegan, my wife is lactose intolerant, and so the sheer range of vegan options is highly appreciated.

The coffee is flavoursome without being excessively bitter.

The customer service is absolutely second-to-none, as they evidently know every one of their customers. Even if you are popping in for the first time on a city break for your anniversary like us, they treat you like they've known you for ages.

Not only all that, but despite the establishment being very small, it is quaint, warm and welcoming, with a very homely feel.

Honestly, I couldn't recommend them...

The food is very filling and delicious. I ordered the ham & cheese baguette with the chocolate milkshake. The ham and cheese baguette's bread was perfectly baked and relatively crispy. The cheese is delicious. The ham, chefs kiss. Don't even get me started with the milkshake. The milkshake is perfectly sweet, good portion size, and the texture is really creamy and rich.

The people there were so nice and kind. They serve the customers with smiles on their face which makes me feel so much better. The food arrived really quickly and was delicious.

The atmosphere was wonderful, a small place but it is a warm and cozy place. Beautiful decorations.

Food: The food was absolutely delicious. One of the best vegan cheese (halloumi) baguettes I've had. Also, I tried really hard to eat the flapjack in multiple sittings but ended up finishing it all in seconds.

Service: I was waiting quite a while in the queue and at one point a customer was served before me as there was quite a lot of people and noise in the shop. The lady behind the counter, when she realised, came up to me and gave me a gift of a flapjack and apologised.
