Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Anderson

There was a large scale of hype when this location opened here in my town. I've traveled a lot and been to others before. To be honest I've never really been impressed with them in the past. We have had one for a good while now, but it is on Campus so it is and isn't kind of reserved for students. So this is "the only one" we have and I guess you can say it is new here. Also I hadn't been to a Chick-fil-A in quite a while. Even when I had, I found the classic breaded chicken patty with a pickle quite plain and basic. Regardless of this, me and my wife decided to take a peek at what might be new and on the menu while we were out and about one day. We also noticed that they were not busy. I decided to try the grilled chicken club this time around and to my surprise it was super tasty, and hot off the grill fresh. I was quite impressed with their timing and all of the robust flavors. Their sauces are likely where they are the strongest. But they can be bought at the supermarket, so not really a reason to go done there.

The total of my meal - in my opinion still does not quite justify the price paid, being that this is fast food. However I was surprised, at the quality of it.

Due to all of the hype, our kids wanted to try the place out. So, the second time around when we were in the area we stopped by with our kids. It was crazy busy, and people were speeding through the parking lot, even just outside the doors to the restaurant. Maybe Upper Management should think about adding some speed bumps through the lot, for those drivers that don't value human lives, as they came pretty close to hitting us and our kids.

Also due to how busy they were the second time around, the line was very long and the food was as close to cold as you could get, and our kids breaded sandwiches were not even crispy any more. It all depends on how much money you've got, and what time of day that you...

Have tried to give the new location multiple tries but this last time solidified my decision to drive an extra 20 minutes for the Noblesville location. Placed my mobile thru order and arrived to the store and was pleasantly surprised that there was only one car in front of us in either line. We proceeded to wait 15 minutes for our order, only to get home and realize they completely forgot an entire breakfast sandwich even after all that time they had to double and triple check our order was correct. We had already wasted enough time at the store and did not have any extra time to return to the store to tell them their mistake, so we just went without the breakfast sandwich. I would have had more sympathy if the store was short staffed, however, while we were waiting there for that 15 minutes we could see inside and were watching a group of 4 workers just huddled together talking.
