Earl of Sandwich Phipps Plaza Atlanta
My second review of this incredible restaurant: This restaurant is located on the second floor of Phipps Plaza in Buckhead, across from Lenox Square in Atlanta. They have a wide variety of soups and sandwiches. I have only ever ordered their Montague with roast beef and turkey, tomatoes and lettuce and, I think, honey mustard. The ladies who work there are incredibly friendly and offer a personal touch to their service including learning your name. That is no mean feat as they must serve hundreds of customers! The Montague is perfectly toasted and I think is the absolute best sandwich I have ever eaten! Ever! Do your tastebuds a favor and give them the chance to serve you the best sandwich of your entire...
Read moreDiscovered this restaurant years ago in downtown Disney in Orlando. This location popped up in Atlanta, which was exciting news but the reality of this location is completely underwhelming. There is practically zero seating, a bar for maybe 4 individuals and maybe 3 tables, I guess they want you to use the mall seating in the courtyard and not stick around in the store. The worst infraction is this location is a franchise and does not take Earl of Sandwich giftcards. The employees said it as if that makes sense and should clue everyone in. Regardless of being a franchise or chain store. You should take your companies gift cards or don't offer them. It's really absurd , inconvenient, and a poor business decision. 50$ wasted and there were no options to redeem any other way, and the manager didn't care. She just shrugged her shoulders and repeated we're a franchise. Thank for your complete...
Read moreWow! Just wow.
While waiting almost 15 minutes for a club sandwich, you have a lot of time to look around and see how filthy and unkept this place is. There was trash all over the floor where they make the food and behind the counter, the ceiling vents needs to be changed and cleaned. The cashier guy kept one glove on and never changed it, touching all kinds of things. I guess the staff doesn’t realize the gloves are to protect the food and not their hands. The grey paint looks disgusting, especially by the soda machine. I was also appalled by the ridiculous fee to use a credit card. If I would have noticed the 94A score before ordering and paying, I probably would not have ate there. I hope this finds its way to management...
