My best friend's dinner party ended in disaster at this establishment on a TUESDAY NIGHT! We originally had a party of 16 but only 14 attended. We had 2 servers, one blonde one brunette. The Blonde was extremely generous until it was time to settle the bill. The brunette clearly didn't want to serve our party because everything we asked her for was an issue. She either ignored it or responded with a nasty attitude. We didn't let that ruin the mood. However, when we were settling the bill... Our bill was $2,279. We paid the blonde server $551 IN CASH! SHE NEVER APPLIED THE CASH TO OUR BILL! We were there for almost an hour trying to figure out why was the remaining balance so high. We even assumed that someone from the party didn't pay. EVERYONE PAID! IT WAS THE WAITRESS WHO TRIED TO POCKET THE MONEY. Now granted, it did take us a while to figure it out but only because IT WASN'T RIGHT! The blonde threatened to call the police on us because "YALL ARE TAKING TOO LONG". When in reality it could've been settled if you weren't trying to get over & pocket our money! There was already $443 gratuity added on to our check! Fast forward to us actually settling the bill. Knife made us pay for 3 additional guests even though only 2 didn't show up! The party was reserved for 16 not 17! The manager that night who is an older bald head guy was handed a card to settle the bill. However, instead of him handing the card back to the person who handed it to him he hands it to someone else along with the receipt. Once the bill was settled the entire party is walking towards the door. This older man is yelling and grabbing 2 women from the party in an extremely aggressive manner saying "I NEED A COPY OF THE RECEIPT". He snatches one woman from the party by the shoulder which in turn makes another woman from the party fall to the ground. He then snatches another woman by the shoulder DEMANDING a copy of the receipt. Neither of those women had the receipt! He should have gotten with the person he handed it to! Atlanta Police Department had to be called to the scene. The manager wasn't arrested the night of the incident but charges are soon to follow. BE CAREFUL PAYING WITH CASH HERE BECAUSE THE BLONDE WILL STEAL FROM YOU AND MANAGEMENT WILL ACT AS IF YOU ARE...
Read moreI had the pleasure of dining at Knife and it was a Mediterranean dining experience like no other. Nestled in the heart of Atlanta Buckhead, this restaurant is a true culinary gem that left me utterly impressed.
From the moment I entered to Knife was greeted by the warm and inviting ambiance. The décor, with its Mediterranean charm, immediately set the mood for an unforgettable evening.
To start, I ordered the Greek salad, a refreshing blend of crispy greens, juicy tomatoes, cucumbers, all tossed in a tangy dressing. It was the perfect appetizer to whet my appetite and was a symphony of flavors.
For the main course, I couldn't resist trying their Lamb chops. The tender, succulent pieces of lamb were marinated to perfection and grilled to a smoky, mouthwatering delight. Served with fluffy orzo rice and grilled asparagus, it was a dish that transported me straight to the Mediterranean coast.
The wine selection is impressive.
Service at Knife was impeccable. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, and their knowledge of the menu and willingness to accommodate dietary preferences added to the overall enjoyment of the evening.
Dessert was a delightful conclusion to my meal. I tried their Baklava, which was a sweet, nutty, and flaky treat that left me craving for more.
In summary, Knife offers an exceptional Mediterranean dining experience. The combination of authentic flavors, a charming ambiance, and top-notch service make it a must-visit for anyone who appreciates Mediterranean cuisine. Whether you're a seasoned Mediterranean food enthusiast or trying it for the first time, this restaurant will leave you longing for your next visit.
I wholeheartedly recommend Knife to anyone looking to embark on a culinary journey through the Mediterranean. It's a true paradise for...
Read moreI really had high hopes for this place but it was a disappointment at every turn. The service was absolutely horrible. The food was pretty good so I’ll give them that. Be mindful of the $20 valet charge if you do drive in. The terrible experience started at the very beginning when our server lied and said parties 4 or more can’t split a check as soon as we sat down. No one asked about the bill or inquired as we had just arrived so the timing of the delivery was interesting. On top of the fact that we were cousins celebrating a birthday and we were never even planning on splitting. Then the server came to the table in the middle of dining and said we had to move to a different table because they wanted to seat a larger party where we were. We were confused as we were in the middle of our experience and the waitress then informed us that the order came from someone else and they thought we had already been informed. Once we made it clear it was inappropriate to tell us we were being moved in the middle of dining especially since we had a reservation the waitress said “let’s pretend like that didn’t happen” and proceeded to act normal. We had an issue with receiving pictures we paid for. Everyone we asked for help claimed they didn’t work there. We had to hunt down the photographer for photos ourselves after paying $40 for them. We even tried to ask the hostess for help who was extremely rude and then told us she also didn’t work there?? We asked six different people for help and they all claimed they were independent and don’t work at the restaurant. Even once we found the photographer they sent us photos of random people in the restaurant that we didn’t know. The level of unprofessionalism is laughable. I would never...
