Willow Bar — Restaurant in Atlanta

Whether you’re a guest of The Sylvan or just looking for a place to grab a light bite & cocktails in the evening or brunch on the weekend, I’d highly recommend spending some time at Willow Bar. It’s a great spot for light eats & botanical forward cocktails before heading over to The Betty for dinner or an after-dinner nightcap around the fire pit in the garden in the evening. Although it’s not being advertised, they offer a fantastic brunch on the weekends (with the same menu as The Betty). Reservations can be made on Open Table. There is both outdoor & covered seating in a laidback garden atmosphere. The food, drinks, & service are fantastic! (Shout out to our favorite server, Summer!) Things to note. Check the hours. As of right now they open at 4pm during the weekdays. The Sylvan is dog-friendly & Willow Bar allows your 4-legged companion to join you out in the garden! Reservations here are useless. Before going I did read the reviews and there were many one star reviews because of reservation issues. However my mom had reserved it for her birthday so I put my doubts aside. We called ahead asking for a spot near the fire pit, they never told us it was first come first serve, they just said yes. When we get there we say we have a reservation and the girl at the bar says she can’t see that information and there’s no hostess. Despite calling the only fire pit was taken, and we weren’t dressed for the weather with no heat source. We sat for a while with no one even bringing us a menu. Finally we get a menu but another 20 minutes passed without even having our drinks taken before deciding to leave. We were only one of 2 parties in the whole place at 7pm on a Saturday, so that’s...

Extremely disappointed. I made reservations to Willow Bar over two weeks ago to celebrate me and my husband’s anniversary. A couple of days before my reservation date, I received a confirmation email for my reservation. I took the day and the following day off of work because I was looking forward to celebrating. Finally the day came to celebrate our anniversary, we show up to Willow Bar and they are CLOSED. At no point did Willow Bar communicate that they were closed and reopen on NYE. Their website states that they reopen on Dec 26.

I’m extremely frustrated because of Willow Bar’s lack of communication and impression that they are open when they in fact are closed. They completely destroyed our anniversary celebration.
