Love this place! Aura, Gina, and Sierra are freaking rockstars! Food is great drinks even better!

I’m only giving this place 3 stars because I would like to come back to the bar but not to dine in with a sever!! We came in about a week ago. We normally sit at the bar but we brought our friends in for dinner to show them how cool this place was so we sat at a table. Our pregnant waitress approached us took our drink order. She looked high. She dropped off our drinks and didn’t ask us if we’re were ready to order food then walked out to the patio and lit up a cigarette and started talking to every one outside then came back smelling like 16 carts of cigarettes then asked if we were ready! So then we ordered our food then we didn’t see her for a while sitting there with empty drinks! A super sweet cute little Asian waitress brought us our food and asked if we would like another round. We said oh my god yes please! Then our waitress comes back from where was more important than doing her job looks over at the table to see if we’re good but doesn’t check up on us and sat down at one of her other tables talking and eating! Then checks on us when she’s done snacking! We ask for the check. She goes the the computer and starts texting then she drops the check off and she disappeared again!

I was incredibly embarrassed that I brought my friends here! The service is completely different from sitting at a table vs the bar!

I just don’t understand how the owners allow their employees to smoke where we can see them and eat at a table with people they know while on the job. It’s completely unprofessional!

** If the employees are going to treat your place like a bar then you should probably take the GRILL out of your name (Finn...

I started coming to Finns back in 2010 when I first came to Colorado, between now and then there has been a dramatic change in scene attitudes, atmosphere, employees and service.

I feel off from Finns because moving to different area of the Metro and job, but still would come meet friends that I worked with down in the area

Finns is still one of the best places that I have found and frequent to drink eat and hangout at in the Denver Metro area. From the friendly staff to the great and interesting bar menu which I do believe is a family back in the kitchen and not some executive chef trying to be creative in his menu on what I still say is a hole in the wall local bar.

Sierra is the heartbeat of the staff always at the ready while Gina, and Aura are the life blood that and pulse that give the regulars and anyone new a good fun vibe. Kaitlyn, Karen and the rest of the wait staff, (sorry gals for not remembering names) do an exceptional job on making you feel completely comfortable

Recently Finns removed one of their bartenders for reason unbeknownst to me, Jen Jen was the soul of the bar making everyone feel at home,, by organizing events and just making both regulars, locals and newbies feel at home. She is missed and is a treasure to be around,, even if she is a Dodgers fan. I still recommend going to Finn's for a good time, great food, Aaron Simmons and his show nights (dirty bingo nuff said) and a...

I don't write these reviews to often; however, I wanted to share with everyone why you should HANDS DOWN CHOOSE Finn McCool's Bar & Grill as a place to eat:

#1 - Should be pretty obvious what drew you in and I know we can all agree, that name is pretty dang awesome

#2 - You've been drawn in, but what do you order? Anything, order anything. I'm convinced based on what I've eaten that they can do no wrong. Oh, and also order the fried pickles (you'll thank me later)

#3 - The staff is freaking awesome. It's apparent that they have a good time at work and extend their smiles to the customer base

#4 - Timing is key, and man did they nail it: I didn't have to wait a YEAR to get my 5 star meal. It was fresh and to me in that "oh wow, that was quick" time frame

#5 - Last but not least, the food! Holy cow, I thought I'd bitten into the warm fuzzy memory of eating grandpa's home cooked brisket. Taking a bite takes you to that distinct nostalgic memory of actual good food

All in all you need to give this place a go (seriously, look at how many reviews I ACTUALLY give - leaving this shows these guys have something special going on).

TL/DR: Cool name, great menu, awesome staff, amazing timing, and food that'll leave...

Stopped in by chance. First tell was the place was dead, I know it was a Monday night but still. The drinks are water. The bartender must be saving her pours for her friends! Our burnt onion rings and cheese sticks that were stuck together so breading was raw. When we asked for silverware the waitress brought us back only 1 set. Live and learn don't stop here too many better places out there! This place is a definite candidate for Bar Rescue!!!!

I was looking for a small local place to get some good bar food. We happened to stumble on the right place. Karaoke night was hilarious. The food was hot and fresh, the fries are wonderful and cooked perfectly. The buffalo sauce was excellent. There was a small mixup on the wings we ordered but they corrected it quickly and with a smile. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the surrounding Denver area.
