I am here on a work trip and decided to door Door Dash. Wanted some good BBQ. The Mac and Cheese and Mashed Potatoes were the best part. The brisket was dry. "Shredded" or "pulled" brisket is always a red flag to me that the meat isn't smoked well. If I would have know it was shredded brisket I would have most likely went elsewhere, it wasn't clear on any menu. There was no smoke ring on any part of the shredded meat I got and didn't really taste like smoked meats. The link was alright but cut into pieces. I prefer the link to be whole or cut in half. Cutting into small pieces I can guarantee you that all the juices are left on the cutting board. Similar to shredding brisket or pork at home and the juices are left at the bottom of the pan... They toss the brisket in sauce, so I ordered without because I want to taste the meat not just sauce. A great smoked brisket doesn't need sauce. They gave me about a tablespoon of BBQ sauce and they didn't provide utensils. I can see why they toss their meats in sauce because the sauce gives it the moisture it needs. Thankfully my hotel had utensil.
Edit: Your response assuming I was in your restaurant to tell you about it is not accurate but that's probably because you didn't...
Read moreBrothers BBQ is hands down the most phenomenal, top class, BBQ in all of Colorado, possibly the whole country, and maybe in all of the Galaxy. You can't go wrong with a single thing on this menu.
The brisket is so delicious and the smoke is perfect on it. Ribs are incredibly tender and some of the most suculant things on the menu. To top it off, this pulled pork is so tender and flavorful my mouth is just watering. Shoot, even the tofu is top notch. It's a little sweet with a touch of smoke and crispy edges that make it better than any non meant item I've ever tasted. To wrap it all up, these burnt ends are the real deal and not just slices of meat. They're the true cut and taste delicious but you have to be careful, they do run out fast since they're the real thing!
And have I mentioned the sides?! I kid you not they've got some of the best sides out of any restaurant. The fries are so delicious and cooked perfectly, fresh to order every time. Mac and cheese, baked beans, taters, slaw... You name it! It is all out of this world!!
It helps the staff is solid too and some of the most curteous people I've met. Even when busy, they'll treat you right. Way to go...
Read moreI've been going to Brothers for well over a decade now, probably closer to twenty years. At first, it was great! I used to enjoy driving up to Denver because it gave me an excuse to eat at Brothers. But over the years, the quality has been slipping. Today's visit just confirmed it'll be my last. Ribs were about the width of my thumb, but we're also 99% bone. If I said there was a millimeter of meat on each side, it would be generous. Pulled pork and pulled chicken were OK, and honestly, those are probably the two best items on their menu, but everything was cold. My wife and daughter each took a bite or two of their Bro cups and wouldn't touch them again because there was so much liquid (I suspect it was the Mac and cheese) that they basically had soups. It's a shame when the best part of our meal were the fries. I can't justify spending $70+ to basically get 3 rib bones with no meat, throwing away $20+ in soupy Bro cups, and eating tepid, room temp food. Sorry, brothers, but...
