Had the pleasure of stopping by for what I originally wanted...an ice cream cone, but then ended up getting much more. It was my husband and I first time visiting the shop and my husbands first time visiting the island. Sarah , had the best , welcoming personality that we decided to sit and enjoy more than an ice cream cone to go. Turns out there was a lot more offered here besides ice cream. My husband opted for a savory bread pie, I believe it was chicken, cheese and onion. While I opted for a smaller cheese bread which came with a dipping sauce. It was a delicious light and flaky pastry filled with cheese. We also split a giant chocolate cupcake. Finally before we left, I did end up getting the ice cream cone I originally came for. Everything was scrumptious and reasonably priced. My husband and I will definitely return before we head back to NY. I also loved the fact that you can purchase a few select souvenirs from the shop, including some local rums. There's a variety of chips for sale, as well as candy bars. The shop itself has this quaint, intimate feel about it, which I really adored. I would definitely recommend this shop for a light lunch and to satisfy your sweet tooth with ice cream, cookies...

We recently visited St. Thomas while on a cruise, and finding a spot that could accommodate our group of sixāincluding myself, who needs to eat gluten-freeāisnāt always easy. Add in the heat and a few āhangryā travelers, and the search for food becomes even more urgent! Luckily, we stumbled upon Banana Spilt and were so glad we did.
The owner was incredibly accommodating and made me a delicious gluten-free Caesar salad, which was a rare and much-appreciated find. The rest of our group, ranging in age from 23 to 72 (with varying levels of pickiness and adventurousness), ordered a mix of dishes, including the puff pastry hand pie chicken pot pie, lamb kabob wrap, and cheese and olive hand pie. Every single one of us loved the food! While the portions didnāt look huge at first glance, they were more than satisfying.
The flavors were fresh, the service was warm and welcoming, and the setting was perfect for a quick yet satisfying meal. If youāre visiting St. Thomas and looking for a spot with great food and an owner who genuinely cares about accommodating dietary needs, Banana Spilt is...

The shop owner Sarah is a delightful soul and an amazing baker. Don't let the name fool you. Banana Splits Sweet and Savory is not just an ice cream shop. Sarah bakes and creates the most beautiful desserts. Cupcakes, tarts , cheesecakes, cookies, tiramisu, and ice cream are all on the menu. Don't forget the savory in the name. She also makes savory pies filled with deliciousness. Chicken pot pies and shepherds pies caught our interest. Sarah greeted us with so much warmth. When we picked our desserts she plated them with chocolate syrup and whipped cream...presentation was on spot. She has tables for you to sit enjoy or you can take them with you. If you have a special occasion and need a special dessert creation ...stop by. Her cakes look phenomenal. This will be my go to on my next visit and future visits. Make sure to tell Sarah that...
