I was at a hotel down the road for a conference, and this place was a block or so away. I came during a regular lunch hour, around 12 pm, so there were a lot of people hanging around on their lunch breaks. When I entered, there was a bit of a line, but one of the people preparing food went down the line asking people what they wanted to start on orders. I thought that this was very efficient of them. I got a cheeseburger with just lettuce and mayo and a side of french fries. The burger was very tasty! It almost reminded me of Five Guys, but it was a lot less expensive. The french fries were delicious- they had that nice batter on them that makes them super crispy and crunchy. They went very well with ketchup. I got my order to-go and sat outside to eat since it was a lovely day outside. Overall, I had a really positive experience here!

I am a regular customer that enjoys the gyros and salads. There was a long line and I was treated disrespectfully in front of other customers and the person I came to lunch with. My grilled chicken from my salad was not fresh. Normally it it’s hot and made to cook the same day. On this particular day it was gray, old and cold. After expressing my concerns management who then advised the cook I was advised they wouldn’t remake the chicken. Lack of customer service and disrespect from the way I was talked to. I am a kind person and no one should be talked to any kind of way especially in front of other people. There was no assistance when my concern was expressed. Therefore I and others will not be returning if I expressed how I felt and it was ignored.

Since moving to the Queen city 6 years ago from Dallas, Texas I have been very "vocal" about the lack of delicious food and good customer service here in Charlotte. I have also been sure to share when I find an exception to that. Gold is what I found at Little Village Grill. This family run business has fresh delicious food at surprisingly reasonable prices. I believe you are what you eat so eating away from home can be challenging for me. I would rather have to wait until I get home to cook before eating poorly prepared food. That being said if you have not already tried this restaurant I give it two thumbs up for the marvelous food and kudos for a wonderful crew. I will be going back as soon as I can. #JesusChristisLord

I am horribly disappointed in how I was handled at this establishment today right after patronizing with them a day prior (purchased two cold brews) and then came in today with a coworker who ordered a meal and purchased me a danish…I brought my lunch to eat with her and did not see the sign where it read I wasn’t allowed to bring my own food in which I know is commonly not allowed at most places, but it was the way I was urgently dismissed from the establishment that didn’t sit well with me. My coworker wrapped up her food because she couldn’t stomach how the man came over and basically told me to get out. Learn how to talk to the people buying from your business.

Response to owner: No, I wasn’t under the impression that I would receive VIP service. According to the way you’re responding to the situation, I highly doubt you have the capacity to provide VIP services. Thankfully your business is located in a high traffic area so you get a lot of customers. However, and clearly, it doesn’t mean you have good communication or customer service skills. Your response further confirms what’s been stated. Additionally, I would never do this at any other establishment because it wasn’t my idea in the first place. My coworker insisted I eat with her and she purchased a burger for herself and 2 cheese danishes and 2 bags of chips for me and her so yes I was a customer. After sharing my experience with the office, another co worker shared that she ordered a vegetarian option and received meat and you all refused to correct her order and gave the same harsh treatment. Clearly this is...

I had an overall enjoyable lunch experience with my child—we spent about 45 minutes relaxing, eating, and even took the time to clean up our table before getting ready to leave. The young lady who took our order was very friendly, and the food was great.

However, our experience ended on a disappointing note. As we were exiting the restaurant, a staff member physically blocked the doorway and informed us that the restrooms were for paying customers only. This was both confusing and upsetting, considering we had clearly dined in, paid for our meal, and were just wrapping up our visit.

Being confronted in that way, especially in front of my child, was not only unnecessary but also came across as accusatory and unwelcoming. It felt like assumptions were made about us—possibly based on my appearance, assuming I was much younger and trying to pull a fast one—and that's a deeply uncomfortable position to be put in as a PAYING customer.

I hope this feedback helps improve staff training around customer service and handling such situations with more care and respect. We were excited to spend our lunch uptown and chose your establishment as part of that experience. It’s unfortunate that this is how our visit ended. The employee mumbled sorry, but it shouldn’t have happened in the first place, to act on...

Had lunch here on a business trip. There is not much to choose from in the area. As a result there was a lot of government workers here that day. I imagine they would be here all the time too.

There was a long line when I arrived. As a matter of fact, the line never died down the whole time i was there. Got to sit with a local who dines here regularly. She indicated that the family that runs the shop is usually very good and very fast. Guess they have a lot of new staff members, which contributed to the slow service. Took more than 10 minutes to get the food. As a matter of fact, the wait was that long for everyone that day.

Had the little village sub. It was quite good. Good portion size. The fries, ordered separately, were crispy and crunchy.

Overall, a good place for lunch if you have time. If the service is quicker then this...
