This restaurant has really gone down hill. Let's talk about the food first. I ordered Pollo Sammy. The chicken was severely over cooked. It was almost black along the outside of the meat all the way around about an inch wide, in some places more. It was dry, tough, and hard to chew. The veggies were over cooked and nothing but mush. So rather than cook it correctly they covered it in a huge amount of cheese that it didn't even complement the rest of the food. The rice was fine. The refried beans were also over cooked. They arrived with a very dark crust over them. My margaritas was good, however, it was served in a hot glass, on the rocks as requested, so the ice melted very fast and my drink was warm before I was able to finish half of it. Our waitress checked on us often but acted like she didn't understand me, or didn't hear me, when I tried to tell her I was unhappy with how my meal arrived. Additionally, I wanted to use the ladies room before my meal. The entire bathroom was filthy. There were 2 stalls and NEITHER toilet would flush! I found the toilet in the handicap stall already used with pee on the seat. The second stall was full of someone grumpy mess. Clearly, I could not use the toilets. I advised the manager of the situation and went to sit down. I told him I needed to use the restroom and even asked to use the men's room. I was told no. So I went to sit down. 20 minutes later I decided to check to see if they did anything about the mess. The room was still not clean however, both toilets had been flushed. The regular stall had no toilet paper in there at all. The second one, handicap stall, did so I used that one. It didn't flush at all. I took the lid off the tank and fiddled around with the guts but couldn't get it to flush. This is just unacceptable! I washed my hands and left the room. When we were getting in our car a vehicle with a large family that was traveling asked if this was a good restaurant. We told them about our experience and suggested a much better Mexican restaurant to visit. They took our word and left. That said, I will never eat here again. Clearly, the management doesn't care about the restaurant, the needs of its customers, or the quality of food they serve. If you choose to eat here I hope you will have a much better experience than I did. I used to eat here alot. When the manager, Alexander, left the place just took...

Absolutely LOVED this place, the staff and the food. To fully understand what I'm saying I'll have to elaborate a little. At 9:00pm on a Monday night and they close at 9:30pm, my family and I go up with a total group size of 9 adults and 6 kids and and I'm totally waiting, expecting for the manager to say, "Sorry with your size group it is too late to serve you". What were got was, Come in, we'll move tables together to get you seated. My wife asked about going outside, again he said Oh sure, go out take as many tables as you need or we can put tables together to seat the adults and children, whatever you like. Like I said at the beginning, every trip I take from now on to Colonial Heights, this is where my family and I will be eating. The wait staff was great, friendly and very accommodating. The other surprise is even though it was late, they never once tried to hurry us out or make is feel like we were impeding them from closing and...
