The Melting Pot is located in the lower level of the Colorado State Government Building in downtown. The restaurant is accessible by elevator, with clear signage indicating so.

We arrived just three minutes early and received a notification that our table was ready. As we descended the stairs, we were warmly greeted at the front desk. The check-in process was efficient—less than two minutes—and the staff was friendly and easy to engage with. They confirmed our date night package, and we were promptly escorted to our table.

The atmosphere was intimate and romantic, perfect for a date night. We were seated in a private booth, and our server, Alex, immediately made us feel welcome. She brought an element of charm to the evening, guiding us through The Melting Pot experience with grace and enthusiasm. Her explanations were clear and engaging, making it easy to understand the menu and flow of the meal.

Alex made thoughtful drink recommendations that paired perfectly with our meal. After discussing my allergy requirements, she provided suitable substitutions and ensured everything was handled safely. Despite serving other tables, she made us feel like her top priority, delivering attentive service throughout the night. Alex was a standout—her service alone would bring us back.

The food was excellent. We followed the recommended cooking times provided by the restaurant's app, which enhanced the experience. We enjoyed a three-course meal, and if you have the option, the seafood selections are a must-try. For dessert, we received a beautifully presented white chocolate “date night” plate, complete with dipping items and a complimentary glass of champagne an elegant touch.

Our dining experience lasted nearly two hours, and every moment was enjoyable. It was fun experimenting with different sauces and combinations, and the vegetables in the cooking stock were delicious. Alex ensured each course was perfectly timed and that we had everything we needed.

We did choose to upgrade our package when making the reservation, and it was absolutely worth it. We’ll definitely...

My wife and I are travel nurses visiting Colorado from Texas, and we decided to have dinner at the Melting Pot for a nice night out from our rental house. I was pretty disappointed that the food they were bringing to us still needed to be cooked. Our server must have walked up to our table around 4 to 6 times to tell us about our food or how to cook it, noting to avoid cross contamination by cooking each different type of meat separately. In the picture I attached below, my wife set the timer on her phone to time how long we need to cook the raw food they left on our table. I suspect the server sensed my disappointment during one of her trips to our table because then other Melting Pot staff started coming up to us which included a manager, a cook/chef, and an unknown person. The manager, cook, and server were all pretty nice, but the unknown staff member didn't need to ask us where we were from just to tell us that the Melting Pot had a presence in our state, just not where we are from. My wife and I were suspecting he was prejudiced against us. The feeling that the unknown staff member left me with made me wish I tipped more than the 25% I had already tipped.

If you check out the prices on the menu that I also attached to this post, you might get the impression that this restaurant is one that caters to those with higher incomes, or those who would be willing to make a one-time visit to celebrate a milestone. I think this place clearly serves a niche population, and though their meats, dimly lit environment, and sheik music might be of okay quality as a whole, is the experience of getting food here really worth the price...

I have always wanted to eat here, but couldn’t get my husband to take us because of the expense. However, we got the world’s greatest waiter, RON!!! Everyone here bent over backwards for my family. It was my daughter’s 17th birthday and she loves Car’s - the whole hardcore athlete’s motto “I eat losers for breakfast.” Then Ron took the time to make this plate out of edible sugars and frosting. There is no price you can put on that experience, seeing her face light up with that gorgeous desert plate. Ron, went so above and beyond, very talented and amazing! We were never neglected nor ignored. Everyone was courteous and attentive to all of our needs, even changing our times on a Saturday. Just loved the entire experience. So glad it was here and not in our hometown that we decided to finally try this restaurant! You can’t beat this place, nor the atmosphere. Ron walked us through the best way to enjoy our dinner, with perfect recommendations and to get the most out of it and a better rate. He took that much time with us. Ivan, kept us laughing too while he cleared off our plates in between the courses. It was a fabulous ending to our trip with this perfect and delicious meal. I never thought my son would ever say he was ever full, but he said he was full half way through. We were all shocked!! He didn’t even eat later that night. We don’t typically spend this much on food or tips, but by the end- it was all worth it. It truly was!!! My family and I are already planning to eat here for any and every occasion we get 💗! I just hope Ron and Ivan will...
