Read moreThe food here felt as if someone hastily slapped together bad quality ingredients and tried to pass it off as an actual dish. According to my brother, the wings were the ONLY good thing on the menu. They were oversauced with BBQ but were good compared to the Swiss hamburger my dad got (which only had a tiny piece of Swiss that you would miss it) and the chicken salad sandwich my mom got (the name is very misleading, it resembled nothing of salad or chicken, more of a badly sauced slush of white meat). My brother, who eats fries with almost every meal he can get, said their fries were the WORST he ever had. They were dry and tasted like they had been left out and refried over and over again. The coleslaw was limp and oversauced with sauce that didn't even taste like anything. And the cookie in the kids meal crumbled like wet sand that had dried in the oven.
Normally our family eats very green (since I'm gluten and lactose free) but it was 9:30pm and all the nice restaurants were closing soon.
There was not a SINGLE green option on the menu (veggie burgers don't count). I was going to have wings, but then I learned they were fried. They weren't even the crunchy fried chicken, I can understand that, instead they were exactly the same kind of chicken you could have gotten baked. WHY BOTHER TO FRY?
In other words, only come here if you are content with sipping some water and crunching on ice...
Read moreWe popped in here on a Sunday night & asked how long the wait was - 10 minutes... no problem. As the hostess grumpily sat us she snapped at another table "I'm just here to seat people". We sat down and ordered drinks & an appetizer - expressed to our waitress Dandee that we would order food after our appetizer came. About 20 minutes later kitchen staff brought us our food. Our drinks had been empty for quite a while so we asked the staff if they could bring us another round of drinks. Dead face tells us "No". We think she is joking but to our surprise she is not. They have been crazy busy all day so they have decided to close early. Our server walks up and I express that we would have ordered our food and more drinks if we'd gotten a last call heads up because we had no idea they were closing. Her reply was "You should have googled it" as she snottily walked away- SERIOUSLY?????? How would I google that you are closing early? We were told they would bring us water - not even soda to drink with our food. To be honest the food was good so this could have been a 5 star review with a little better customer service. The manager did apologize and walk us out explaining that they'd been slammed all evening. As a veteran of the foodservice business I've been slammed to the point of tears but still never ignored a table and then instead of apologizing told them to google our...
