Upon entrance of this 'Coyote Ugly' location, myself, as well as the two immediate family members I was entering with, were immediately overwhelmed by the complete lack of genuine ambiance. This location made me feel like I was in an episode of Bar Rescue, however Jon Taffer was nowhere to be seen. Despite our hesitation we trudged through the musky atmosphere and made our way to the bar. At the bar we encountered an employee who may or may not have had a few pre-shift, and mid-shift cocktails. This wouldn't typically bother us, but in this instance the effects of the alcohol were noticeable. For some ridiculous reason, this bartender had access to a microphone that allowed her off-putting voice to be broadcasted through the house sound system. She made a fool of herself, saying a myriad of cringe-worthy statements such as "How the hell is everyone doing tonight!?". That phrase should not be used when the establishment has no more than ten (10) active customers. Again, we carried on attempting to be positive. We sat at the bar for an amount of time that was not recorded, but felt like an unreasonable amount of time. Another group then came up to the bar. That group was served first. We finally got our long awaited chance to place an order for alcoholic beverages. We ordered three (3) shots of Esplion tequila. The bartender then poured three (3) separate cups of liquid. That seems normal considering we ordered three (3) shots. Our overall morale dropped heavily once we received three (3) separate cups all containing wildly different amounts of alcohol. To that we asked for a more consistent amount. This apparently was an unreasonable request. The bartender did not act in an empathetic way and haphazardly tossed some more tequila in the cups. To top it off, there were no limes or any actual citrus available. This is frowned upon in the Tequila or bar community. We then sat for an additional 10 minutes before being asked if we needed anything else. Contrary to how we were feeling we took a leap an ordered another round. I ordered a double vodka redbull, and the other two of our party ordered shots of Crown Royal Apple. The bartender gave me my drink and poured double shots for the other two, however once again they were not equal in volume. We then decided to cash out, and the receipt had our jaws on our floor. The bartender charged us for 2 separate double shots of Crown Royal Apple even though we only asked for 2 single shots. We didn't want to cause a scene and disturb the status quo and just sat there and took it. We paid and left. This experience was not what we were looking for and given the opportunity we would gladly have had a different experience. None the less we drank some alcohol and they, technically speaking, could have done worse, but we took everything into account, and as a group decided to leave and go to a different place that serves alcohol.
Would not recommend, unless you are perhaps a single 30-something male who enjoys simping over intoxicated female bartenders and chain bars. If that's what you're into than this is your...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI really canāt say anything other than that. I felt like I was humiliated tonight publicly. Iāve went to the coyote ugly for years, but Iāve never been so humiliated in my life. tonight when I went out, I wanted to celebrate Martin Luther King Day. I was having a good night and I wanted to go to coyote ugly. I was having a good time then I was asked to participate in an activity and I agreed to it as long as I didnāt have to dance, but what I didnāt agree to was being blindfolded and being publicly, humiliated and degraded . I was asked to sit on the edge of the bar, and I was blindfolded, and without my knowledge, the female bartender had put a strap on on and stimulated an example of ejaculating all over my face and ruined my dress which I paid over $100 for because it was a special occasion For me . Not only did she ruin my dress, but I had felt publicly humiliated and I did not consent to a woman putting a dildo on and stimulating ejaculating all over my face. Once I took my blindfold off, and I realize what she did I was humiliated and embarrassed and ashamed and I never felt so horrible. I wanted to cry, and when I tried to express that I did not like with the lady did she was rude to me and brushed off what I said, and said āwhat do you want a free ?ā No, I did not want a free drink. I wanted to hurt to understand that I did not consent to be publicly humiliated and have her put a strap on and simulate ejaculating all over my face while I had a blindfold on without my consent.. That was public humiliation, and I cried when I went home. I will never go back to this bar, and I have gone to this bar for the past two years. This is one of the most publicly humiliating experiences of my life. I felt violated...

Iāve proudly served nearly 20 years in the U.S. Army, including with both the 101st and 82nd Airborne Divisionsāunits grounded in honor, discipline, and respect. Coyote Ugly Denver displays those same division flags on their walls, but make no mistake: this place does not represent the values they pretend to honor.
During my visit, a bouncer aggressively singled me out, grabbed me, and forced me to leave before I could even finish my drinkāwhile allowing everyone else around me to stay and continue drinking. There was absolutely no valid reason given. His actions were aggressive, humiliating, and clearly targeted.
Even other employees looked shocked, unsure of how to respond. But what spoke volumes was that a group of guys sitting at a nearby table stepped in and tried to interveneātelling the bouncer that what he was doing was wrong and that I was being singled out unfairly. When strangers speak up, you know itās bad.
The whole experience felt racially charged and completely disrespectful. Coyote Ugly Denver is a disgraceāhiding behind military flags while allowing behavior that dishonors everything those flags stand for.
I will never return, and I strongly urge othersāespecially veterans, people of color, and anyone with a sense of dignityāto...
