Metropolis Coffee — Restaurant in Denver

I stopped by Metropolis Coffee for a much-needed midday coffee fix, and it was an absolute delight! The cafe was bustling with activity—people working diligently on their laptops, friends catching up, and lively conversations all around. The atmosphere was vibrant yet cozy, making it the perfect spot to recharge.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the friendly barista and her welcoming smile set the tone. I ordered a latte, and let me tell you, it was perfection in a cup! The rich, smooth flavor and perfectly steamed milk made it an amazing latte.

The location of Metropolis Coffee is another highlight. Situated with an amazing view of downtown Denver. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this cafe is a must-visit.

I will undoubtedly be back again, not just for the incredible coffee but also for the inviting atmosphere and fantastic service....

This place has been my "go to" since I moved to the neighborhood about 1 year ago. The reason for the suboptimal review is, as of late, the coffee (specifically the hot latte) has been very inconsistent. One day they coffee can be hot to the touch and overall very good, but then another day it could be lukewarm and disappointing, and I'm talking immediately after pick up from counter. Somedays the cup is filled all the way up, another day it isn't, and when you're paying $5+ for a cup a coffee, you ought to get what you pay for, IMO. I've noticed a change in staff over the last several months, so maybe that has something to do with it...

A 5 star rating for me is considered over the top fantastic. A 4 star rating is a great place that I'll definitely go back to but not "over the top" impressive.

This little shop is great. The coffee is excellent (try the bourbon nitro on tap) and the vibe is pleasant. Natural wood, exposed industrial pieces, and concrete floors. It's a trendy place for sure. The service is great, the music is just right, and the overall feel of the shop is nice. A little cold inside but that's about the only thing I can mildly complain about. Go check it out!...
