As a weary traveler, it’s important to feel welcome in an urban setting. As the summer gets hotter, I always enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with friendly faces. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by Savannah and Colleen with a great attitude, which is rare in cities across the country. As usual, parking is limited anywhere in downtown cities, so walking around looking for a place to sit down and refresh my body is a rarity. I am extremely pleased with the drink varieties that are available. My favorite is San pellegrino Aranciata Rossa so I snatched one as well as a Gatorade and was able to sit down in a nice cool AC area while I watched life go by outside. There are parking meters outside and it’s also very walkable from Union Station to 17th and Market. The area is kept very clean and music is enjoyable. The best part is you can always stay home and order from various delivery services like Uber Eats , grub hub and door dash. Thank you so...
Read moreI paid $14 for a sandwich and a bag of chips. They were available on the ordering app, but when I get there the lady behind the counter looked at me like a deer in headlights saying they didn't have the sandwich I wanted. She didn't give me any eye contact, didn't apologize for the inconvenience, and didn't offer another solution other than "you can order another sandwich if you want". This could have been solved if they had just CALLED ME or notified me before I walk to the shop. But they didnt. No one in the sore had any customer service skills. The first lady went over to her other coworker, they snickered behind the line for a bit, then she came over and asked what I wanted. I asked her to cancel my order, and she again looked like she wasn't sure what to do. It feels like the people working here don't know what they're doing or how to mitigate issues that come up. Staff needs more training. You're better off going to Yampa off...
Read moreI started working across the street from STACK subs on October 4th of 2021. Since then I think I've averaged a visit to a minimum of 3 days a week. I love the food (both breakfast and lunch), the prices are reasonable, and the staff is amazing! At this point I think I know most of them on a first name basis and I hope to keep it that way. SOLID SUBS!!! Keep up the good work in 2022 and please consider naming a sub after me ;)
Edit 1/14/22 After talking with the staff I think we might have a solid idea on the table: The Colton Clucker: not only do you have a an attractive sandwich name but now you offer the option of poultry to your customers. Time to break into the chicken market and capitalize! Let's get it done! Chicken sandwiches are hot...
