Chinatown Kitchen — Restaurant in Gettysburg

Sadly disappointed in this place. We have in the past gotten Chinese carry-out at another local place, but we got it here based on a friend's recommendation. We got vegetable and meat steam fried dumplings (because my wife only likes vegetable dumplings, and that was another reason we got food from here). Both were OK, but the dumpling wrapping itself was thick and a bit chewy. I ordered House special egg foo young, and only ate one. It was mostly tasteless, bland and the shrimp were overcooked and chewy. My wife ordered spring rolls, which were charred on one end so she ate none, both got tossed in trash (see photo). She also got a hot and spicy crispy beef, which she asked for mild. Hers also had no flavor and was mushy not crispy (we were a 10 minute ride away, so not time for anything to go from crispy to mushy). I tasted a piece of the beef, and it was awful. The whole thing went in the trash as well. I saved my leftover egg foo young to try again for lunch, but I don't have high hopes. I would not eat here again, nor recommend it to anyone. When you're in a Chinese food mood , and you're not from the area and Google says it's only .4 miles away you might want to see if there's any other Chinese food even if you have to drive farther . it's okay but I'm not going to get a mail order bride to make it for me every day of my life. And don't judge my mail order bride if I get one we will be happy together and he will love me for me. Yes my bride will be a man, why because 1 I am a female,and I'm not walking down the aisle and I dress I'm only going to wear one time that cost way too much ! if anybody's going to do that it'll be my man bride. Hopefully and even though he will probably be Russian he'll make better Chinese food then this place. And you thought I was going to get an Asian male mail order bride, so typical people you got to think out-of-the-box. Ordered food to be delivered. Was told would be 45-60 minutes. A hour and 20 minutes later, I called was told be there in few minutes. 25 minutes later still no food!!!. I call supposedly speak to owner"Jack", who could careless, gives me attitude, telling me "yeah I know, I know".. Then he calls me at 2 hrs says "driver got held up delivering to hotels, be tgere 5 minutes". I told him, "screw that, the hotel didn't all in 2 goes ago. Your delivering to where you think pays you more first. KEEP your damn FOOD!!! Because I 've been ordering food from you for 10 years and you'll never get another damn dime of my money"!!! Don't bother ordering from this restaurant their food isn't ordinary that you can get from any Chinese place and their lack of customer service is off the charts. I hope the public puts them out of business !!!! Li's Buffett is much better then Chinatown will ever be I taste and customer service. I only ordered from her because they delivered. Truly not...
