Army Surplus - All Wars — Local services in Gettysburg

Stopped in this store with my husband looking for a backpack... my husband as always said to the lady behind the counter.. Hi how are you. The lady didn't even look at him..she just made a face.. while we were in there we kept hearing a commotion at the counter.. this lady was insulting every single person that was in the store.. anyone that approached her with a question.. she lashed out at them..this is no way to treat people who are there to spend money..my husband by accident knocked into a display and knocked something on the floor.. she screamed at him to pick it up..as my husband was picking it up..I told her to calm down can't you see he is.. she proceeded to insult us on the way out the door as well as a dozen other customers that were in there.. not a single person bought anything as no one wanted to approach her... this is no way to treat customers if I could give this place 0...

I was there last year and the owners/ employees were great amd we talked everything military (I'm a retired combat veteran) I saw no issues with any attitudes so I'm not sure where people are getting that from. In two weeks we are going back to gettysburg for three days and I can't wait to go here again to purchase more items which by the way are priced fairly. I have a service dog and they didn't give me any problems with bringing him in (he is a very large dog) so I'm not sure about the disabled child/ stroller situation but they didn't say a word to me about bringing my service dog in so they obviously know about the Americans with disabilities act. Can't wait to go back again which will be my first stop once...

My grandson wanted to purchase an army hat in this store. When I tried to say Hi to the lady behind the counter, I said, Hi, how are you?, very uninterested she sqinched up her nose and said, Uh,OK. When asking about sizes she was rude and very short with us. After a few other questions she was so rude with my grandson, I couldn't believe she was running the store. I hope she was not the owner, but if not I hope the owner knows how rude she is to her customers and especially a young boy. He did purchase the hat but she was so unpleasant that he left the store and felt terrible. The store itself is great, but zero stars for this person!! Beware...
