This Buffalo Wild Wings is trash. The wings are inconsistent (often undercooked in my opinion) and the service is poor if the manager isn’t up front near the register.
Now they’ve added a $0.99 cent “takeout service fee” and charged me $1.29 extra for celery thats supposed to come with the wings for free. When I came back and told the cashier who rung up my food, he was like “yeah, celery is extra. I’ve been working here two months. Want me to get my manager?” LOL. Two weeks ago there was not a $0.99 service fee and celery, carrots, or dressing came with the wings for free. Also, this store location is super small, why isn’t the manager already up front since the staff don’t know how to ring up orders?
One time I came here for pickup and they had given my order to someone else. Another time I sat in the dining area waiting for my order and and heard the cook using all the profanity he knew to complain about his dating life. Sometimes when I walk in, the person manning the register acts like they don’t want to take my order. I’m not tipping and definitely not paying a “takeout service fee” for his kind of service.
Then there's the app. The app usually tells you to pick up your order in 40 minutes to an hour, but the wings are usually prepared much faster than that, so when you pickup your food its cold. When you place a takeout order in person wings take like 10-15 minutes. Today when I tried using the app at 9pm, it was forcing my order to 11am tomorrow!
I’m done. Buffalo Wild Wings is terrible. I get there's been all kinds of challenges and its a tough year but their wings are already too expensive and the service is consistently poor. And no, I'm not filling out a customer support form online. I deleted the app and deleted this company...
Read moreI survived the great super bowl fiasco of 2021– and I wish my biggest complaint of the show was wasting 3 hours of my life for an order that ended up being cold and missing two items.
But here’s the thing. It’s very clear what happened was a software issue, not the responsibility of the employees, however, management did nothing to address the crowd of hungry pre ordered patrons...and failed miserably in acting immediately to triage the mess. Instead of enacting an emergency plan that was logical— they made a bad situation worse...and let the two brave young ladies that did face the crowd take the brunt of it.
All that to say— my biggest frustration was that the manager (notated by his nice bww dress shirt, Bobby)... was shoulder to shoulder with his line crew with his mask pulled down at his chin for the forty five minutes that he was in my vision. Not cool. Not okay. Your kitchen staff deserves better.
Give those two young ladies a raise. Put them into leadership positions— they were brave enough and had forethought enough to lead, and take better care of your kitchen crew—working in close quarters during a pandemic is stressful enough...but you should be able to count on your management team to have your health in mind.
*and now they're trying to course correct the mess with their google reviews by having their staff and friends of family leave five star reviews, made obvious by sharing the same last name of an employee, and by saying it was a perfect "super bowl meal" while praising a specific employee that happened to just give a raving review above yours -- just own the super bowl disaster...that's modern day...
Read moreThis is the first time I have ever posted a bad review online, but here goes...
I ordered a bundle meal today, the cost was almost $60. My order arrived without ranch or celery. Thinking it was a mistake, I called the restaurant and spoke to an employee about receiving a partial refund for the mistake. I was told they were out of ranch, I don't even know what happened to the celery. After a long hold, the manager didn't even speak to me, but told the employee to tell me they couldn't issue a refund, because the ranch was "free". I don't agree, the menu doesn't say anything about free celery or ranch, the description has "choice of carrots, celery, ranch or bleu cheese dressing".
The reason I ordered online is because I didn't want to go out. Instead, now, if I want ranch I must to go to the store for the missing items. And of course, the french fries will not be edible by the time I get back from the store and the wings will be cold.
This all could have been avoided, if they had simply called before processing my order to let me know, and I would have cancelled the order, or ordered something else.
Who eats wings without dressing or celery? Would the manager be satisfied with these same results had this happened to him/her???
Come on, $60 is a lot of money. If I could give zero stars I would.
Update: after returning from the store, with warm ranch yuk! I discovered that I only received 10 wings instead of the 20 I ordered.
I don't plan to ever order...
