Kilroy's Bar N' Grill — Restaurant in Indianapolis

Well we headed downtown we live in bates and Hendricks.. we used to live at artistry, Waverly, and the vue. We bought a house close so we could still go downtown to our favorites. Kilroy,district tap and lots of new places.. well I was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer January 2021. I fought hard and I'm beating it. We finally are getting out I wanted to try something new. I picked Goodwood. Well they were packed 45 minute wait. Ok. Let's go to a place that has great food and great breadstcks. We decided to walk I get very winded but I was excited. The breadstcks are to die for. There food is always good. We sit down. We order our drinks. They come at a good speed. There's a couple sitting next to us they order their food first then the waitress comes to us. I order first. I went out on a limb and ordered out of the box. Brisket and cheddar cheese.Waitress we are out of brisket which reminds me. She grabbed a menu and proceeded to tell the couple they are out of brisket. Ok put in our appetizers and come back. We ordered half order breadstcks and our friend ordered the cheese curds. She brought our drinks and we ordered. Our appetizers came really quick. We was impressed. Nothing but bragging. Then while we waited for our food we discussed why it could be so packed downtown on a monday. Well it's a convention of water workers city workers. Well ok cool. 14,000 visitors and. imagine dragons concert. We watched 3 guys walk in and sit down probably 30 m ins after we ordered. We'll we watched the coulpe who ordered same time we did eat and leave. Waitress even was gonna give us our bill when she gave them their bill. They ate and left like 15 minutes before we did. We we ordered another drink right after we saw the 3 guys receive their food. They got a burger a pizza and a salad. What the... really? We asked the waitress she came back after a few minutes and said they had a problem in the kitchen. Why lie. You didn't have a problem with the burger pizza and salad.. ok.. just disappointed.. my hubby already stopped going out because of covid and because of my diagnosis. We just have bad luck. Now it will be forever again before we go out again. Food was delicious but it just sucks to be lied to. If you forgot to put our order in fine. We all make mistakes. Just don't blame other people when we can tell it's a lie. I can post our reciept. We want to support our city but getting treated like we are stupid isn't right. I looked so forward to a night out of the house I even walked pretty far and I feel cheated. Just not very honest. Our food was good it was hot so it just tells us...

I Can Remember Reading The Review's&Viewing The Pic's Of This Place,Before Visiting Here For The First Time Afew Year's Ago.

I Had Some Good Reason's Of Wanting To Visit Here.

But The Main Reason That Helped&Inspired My Visit Was The Pic's That Were Provided By Other Visitor's.

When Visiting Bar's/Pub's I Look For Positive Crowd's To Socialize With During Visit's.

So After Viewing The Pic's From The Kilroy's Crowd.

They Seemed To Look Like A Great Group Of Individual's That I Would Normally Want To Be Around&Socialize With.

Since Than I've Been Visiting Here Many Time's.

With My BF&Some Of Our Friend's Whenever We Are Passing Through The Town.

The Staff That Work's Here Are Absolutely Amazing!

Very Nice&Friendly. Very Attentive&Respectful To Their Customers At All Time's

Their Professionalism Shines Through All Of Their Hard Work On A Weekly Basis.

Kilroy's Bar&Grill Is One Of The Few Places In Town That I've Been In That Has The Best Barista's In Indy!!

It's A Great Place To Visit&Eat.

My BF&I Alway's Enjoy The Pizza's,Wings&Pickle Chips While Watching Sports Here.

It's Not Only A Great Place To Visit For Beer Conversation's With Your Friend's,But With Fellow Visitor's As Well.

It's A Nice Way To Interact With Other Folk's While Your Here.

It's Also A Good Way To Be Able To Meet&Make Some New Friend's When Traveling

It Doesn't Matter If Your Local Or A Traveling Visitor.

Friendship's Can Be Created Anywhere Regardless Of The Distance Between Them.

They Have A Decent Priced Menu That Display's Different Varieties Of Food&Beverage Selection's To Choose From.

They Have Some Bar Games Provided Here For All Of Their Local&Traveling Visitor's.

They Also Have Afew TV's 🖥 For The Sports Fan's To Enjoy During Their Visit's. 🏈🏀⚾️

Band Night's,Concerts,Trivia, Etc,I Think They Have Karaoke 🎤 As Well. Can't Remember..

It's A Nice Place For Dancing Once In Awhile.

Mostly During Band Night's& The Concert Events That Often Takes Place Here.

The Inside Lounge Area Here Is Very Large&Spacious.

With A Decent Amount Of Good Seating Seçtion's.

For All Of Their Customers Daily/Nightly Visitation's.

The Same Can Be Said About The Outdoor Dining/Patio Area As Well.

Very Clean Establishment. A Great Positive Atmosphere With A Relaxing...

Good Food and Good Times!!!

I stopped into Kilroys with some friends for dinner and beers. I was at a conference just up the street and one of the group suggested Kilroy's as an excellent spot to have drinks. Our intention was just to have beers and snacks, but since it was an unusually cold night we decided to have dinner there too.

The ambiance was typical, as it has a bar/pub vibe. It's not a fancy place but a place you could feel comfortable, and it's also a busy place for American Comfort food. On this night we started with some apps and ordered the Wisconsin Cheese Curds which are white cheddar cheese curds hand breaded and lightly fried and Served with a side of marinara sauce and ranch dressing. This was surprisingly good, not too greasy and I have to admit, I almost ordered another plate. This is a great dish for sharing. Our next appetizer was of course the famous Kilroy's Famous Stuffed Breadsticks, the order comes with four huge breadsticks, rolled from Kilroy's homemade pizza dough, stuffed with mozzarella cheese and pepperoni or Cheese only ( we got Pepperoni and Cheese ) and served with marinara and cheese sauce. This was another hit as you can see from my photo they didn't last long. Lastly, we got ourselves the Buffalo Chicken Dip which is shredded chicken breast mixed with cream cheese, cheddar cheese, ranch dressing, and mild Buffalo sauce, served with tortilla chips and celery. Yummy and creamy, and like the other apps, this one didn't last long either.

For my main course I ordered the build your own smoked feast Smoked Chicken Quarters a Memphis-style dry-rubbed chicken smoked over applewood and brisket. This was another hot, as the chicken and the brisket were juicy, tender and you guessed it...smoky. This dish is served with buns and green beans.
