McDonald's — Restaurant in Leavenworth

This is without a doubt the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. I have stopped here twice on my way through Leavenworth and will never stop here again.

I have never seen a restaurant with so many flies buzzing about and crawling on things. The men's restroom smelled like it had not been cleaned in weeks the one time I used it, there is absolutely zero customer service here, and they got my orders completely wrong on both visits.

They have an order kiosk that you are supposed to use instead of talking to someone at the front counter, but the problem is that if you are paying with cash, you have to go to the front counter anyway and wait for someone there... yes, they make you wait in two lines to order your food. That combined with the fact they have only one of the kiosks makes the order line very long and confusing as there is not much space and you have multiple parties trying to get to it all at once.

They can't seem to get orders right if you modify it in any way. My wife ordered the cheesy fries with just cheese. She instead got fries with just bacon. I went up to get it corrected, and the manager asked for the receipt which I provided, then tried to tell me she ordered just regular fries. I point out the lines to him, and he begrudgingly goes back to get it corrected... he brings back a serving of their cheesy bacon fries... still wrong. I just said screw it at that point. They also got my burger wrong on the other visit and refused to correct it as it was close enough... I don't like their BigMac sauce, but there was not much on there (looked like they had tried to scrape it off before sending it out) so I guess that's not a good enough reason to correct it.

I was there yesterday with my boyfriend, and they got our order wrong. We were in a rush because we had to drive 5+ hours to get back home, so I was expecting this to be a quick place to eat, maybe 15 minutes tops. Also, we’ve been driving nonstop for 5 days straight so we’re tired and hungry, making us a little grumpy. I ordered a McFlurry and 2 double cheeseburgers both without mustard and both with extra pickles. They didn’t give us a spoon for the McFlurry, and my boyfriend had to yell at them in order to even get their attention after 5 minutes of standing in line. Thankfully one double cheeseburger came out right, but the other one was just a regular double cheeseburger. So we had to stand in line again. My boyfriend didn’t want to have to yell at them again because he didn’t want to seem rude, so we stood in line waiting for someone to notice us, and when we were finally able to make management aware of the mistake almost 15 minutes later, they took the double cheeseburger back and then gave us a McDouble with bacon? We were standing in line for nearly 10 minutes just for them to give us the wrong order AGAIN. We didn’t want our time being wasted, so we just left with the wrong order. Neither of us will be going back here, especially after witnessing them ignoring ALL of their customers inside their establishment the entire half an hour we were there. They're nice enough people, and probably short staffed as hell, but this was the worst McDonald's ever. A lot of us waited over 20 minutes for small orders, there was nobody working the front counter, everyone was only in the back and it was only like 3 or 4 people working with a full drive thru with cars going into the parking lot and a ton of people inside. I watched 15 orders in a row have something either missing or incorrect. I ordered 2 nugget happy meals, and 2 much bigger orders that came in way after me got theirs before I did. But all the workers were laughing in the back and asking to see the dog in the drive thru and just acting like none of the 10 people waiting on food in the tiny, cramped lobby was really all that important. Get to the car and they put hot and spicy chicken nuggets in my kids nuggets box. She's 1 ½. She started crying and we couldn't figure out why until I got one to see if it was too hot temp wise and it was spicy. 🔥 They forgot our tea and another drink. Didn't put any sauces for the nuggets.
