First and foremost this is located in what we Angelinos call bad places "ghetto", but I have never had issues here. If you're cool and kind with the people in this vicinity you will be fine. I come here when I get bored of the Chinese food in the San Fernando Valley. They also recently re-opened the dining area since the last time I visited which was closed off in March 2020. I took photos of said dining area.
Unfortunately I forgot to get photos of the food after this visit but I will add them at a later date after the next visit.
The food is a 4 star to me while everything else is a 3 star. This is one of those joints that overflows your to go plate. I recommend the chow mein and orange chicken. Due to the inflation the prices have gone up once a year in the last 3 years or so. I believe I got 4 combo A or B's, but it is $11 each for chow mein/rice and 2 entree's. The interior is old but this restaurant is perfect for getting a lot of food at a low cost.
They are open until 7 PM, so everyone should...
Read moreFound this place on google maps, wanted some Chinese food. Overall the food is good, the price was fine, and the portion was enough to save some for the next day. Only thing is they didn’t have many menu items available. Based on reviews and pictures I thought I’d be able to get some beef broccoli or fried shrimp. Neither was available, was told beef broccoli is only available on Monday (strange?) and that they had no fried shrimp. Only other items I could see were mushroom chicken, spring rolls, some bone in chicken pieces, and orange chicken. Went with the orange chicken and as I’ve said the food was good with a plentiful portion. More menu...
