Terrible service. Made an order through their online service and on this particular day they were closing outside of their regular business hours due to a catering event. Rather than calling me and letting me know the order had been cancelled, they waited until I showed up to the cook cleaning the stoves as they apparently had closed very recently(probably after my order had come in). He proceeds to tell me he got no order and I showed him the receipts of my charges for the order and the pick up time I was sent.
Finally he call his sister? Cousin? Supervisor? (No idea I was just handed the phone) Who tells me the order has been cancelled but they don't handle the payments so I will be refunded in 3-5 days....
HTF as a business do you
A) take orders when you are not open during normal business hours.
B) after receiving an order you do not plan to fill, not notify the customer of the fact that you are cancelling their order.
Food is mediocre anyway, there is way better Mexican food in the area that will get your order right in the same price range.
Will not be ordering...
Read moreAfter Café May on Spring Street closed I was looking for a new Mexican place for breakfast. I've been meaning to try out Guero for a while now and finally got there. Another great new little place in downtown that will definitely be on my go-to list from now on.
You can get (almost) all the breakfast things as plates, burritos or torta sandwiches. We had the Huevos con Machaca as a burrito and huevos con chile verde as a plate. we got some free chips as a starter with two different kinds of salsa on them and refried beans. DELICIOUS!! You can always tell if it's a good place if the salsa is good and it was. Our main breakfast dishes were extremely good, great quality, and you can get more salsa if you want.
They have a big variety of dishes and three changing daily ones which looked amazing. The staff is super...
Read moreBeen here twice now and I have had both their red and green chilaquiles dishes. I got egg added and my friend got the meat added. (Fotos r from my first time so both red sauce version) VERY YUMMY! I’m usually a red sauce chilaquiles guy but imo their green version is best! They also give you chips and salsa appetizer and their sauces are very yummy and tasteful!
Customer service is very good! Both times I went it wasn’t busy and I got my food and a good time! Very clean space as well. No public restrooms.
I do think it’s a lil pricy. Personally I think eggs are automatic with my dish but it’s chill it’s still worth the add on! Will def be coming again and again! Highly recommend if your in the area lookin...
