Waited twenty minutes for an order of falafel, baba, and fattoush. No sauce at all with the falafel. Falafel was over cooked. Only two pieces of pita with two full size baba and fattoush. This was my first time trying this place and I was trying to make my wife try Lebanese food for the first time, but this was subpar compared to what I used to get back in Cleveland. They clearly didn’t want to earn my repeat business with the food.
Wow, you replied with no apologies for me waiting twenty minutes for that overcooked food? You can make the falafel everyday and still burn it as it was burnt. That was not even an apology. You’re standing by some burnt up food. You’re standing by me waiting for 20 minutes. You act like I’m just going around trashing your place when I was the one who had a disappointing dinner late night. Well I guess you have enough customers to stand on that level of food and service with no apologies. I will just go to Sumac’s from now on. Frankly as a former restaurateur, I’m surprised your establishment passed inspections. And you have to order sauce to get it on the side of falafel? Gtfoh! Read moreA friend of mine kept raving about how good the food was here so I finally made it my mission to try this place for lunch. I am going to have to thank my friend that kept insisting I try it and I seriously have to have a talk with myself about procrastinating and taking so long to finally give this place a try. I have only had the chicken skewers so far but damn were they tasty. I could have been eating them on a weekly basis if I had only gotten off my lazy butt and tried this place earlier. I think I am going to try a beef dish on my next visit though. They looked and smelled amazing. If you are in the mood for Mediterranean food, you might want to give this place a try. While I have not eaten at every Mediterranean restaurant in the Los Angeles area, I can easily say that this restaurant is the best if the bunch that I...
