We wanted to try some of everything so we got the combo plate with fried mahi, grilled Ono and volcano fries. We also got a teriyaki chicken and rice and a combo order of fried zucchini and mushrooms. The portions were huge and the food was incredible.
The volcano fries were so flavorful and perfectly spicy. The outside was crispy and the inside perfectly fluffy.
There's no way I could pick a favorite between the fried mahi and the grilled Ono. The mahi was juicy and tender and the breading was light, flavorful and crispy. The Ono has such a wonderful fresh flavor and it was grilled exactly right.
The teriyaki chicken was juicy, tender and flavorful. I loved the fish so much i took most of this home for leftovers and it was excellent even reheated.
The fried zucchini is sliced to just the right thickness so it isn't mushy or undercooked. The mushrooms were sized perfectly to be fried as well. The breading was, again, light, flavorful and crispy on the outside.
The wasabi ranch, volcano sauce, and tartar sauce were all fantastic.

First. Let’s talk about how nice the owners are. The owners are the sweetest people on earth. Their philosophy for this restaurant is to share their yummy taste with the world~ and they do so beautifully by creating affordable meals where families can come and enjoy a meal together.
Okay, now let’s talk about the food. Their POKE is off the charts amazing. The texture of the fish is so soft~ the taste of the fish has a hint of spicy kick with a nice touch from the tobiko roe eggs 😋😋😋
The cod fish tacos were unique and very tasty. It’s got a nice fish batter with a nice tangerine sauce on top, which creates a nice balance with the cod fish.
The mochiko chicken is a favorite for families. Kids and adults both love this stuff. It’s straight up like crack. You just keep eating one after another ~ and before you know it, the whole plate is gone!
Do yourself a favor. Try everything here! You won’t...
Read moreMy wife and I stopped by this small restaurant for lunch. It’s in a small strip mall with very little parking. You might have to find something along the street or park elsewhere nearby.
The restaurant itself has no seating, but there are picnic tables in an open air environment beside the restaurant, and it’s covered so you can stay out of the sun or rain. I do wish there had been some ceiling fans to help circulate the air since it was warm, although I was grateful to be out of the sun. Other restaurants in the area share the same seating area.
I had the fish n chips with mahi with my wife did the stir fry (“wok”) with ono. I’m not a big fan of fried fish, but this was a lighter batter, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I also don’t like tartar sauce, but my wife insisted that I should try theirs because it looked homemade. Let’s just say I dipped nearly every bite into that goodness.
If you’re in the area and can find a spot to park, check...
